Situated in the Noto Valley about 20 minutes out of Noto. A spa hotel that is way past its prime. The rooms are dark. Somewhat clean, but after walking around you find your feet are black. Bed have newer foam mattresses that are very comfortable. The internet is very slow and intermittent. On the small end of standard sized rooms. The breakfast offerings limited. Beautiful surroundings. Can not comment on value as we were here on a tour. Excellent restaurant!

On the south¬eastern coast of Sicily just 6 Km. away fromthe famous baroque town of Noto, easily reached by a shuttle service, the Hotel Club Helios looks out over a crystal¬clear sea with a fine sandy beach. Site an a cliff of Mediterranean maquis, the complex consists of a central body containing 143 rooms, restaurants, bar, bazaar, disco, theatre, congress centre and a spacious terrace overlooking the sea.
I experienced this place to escape the crowded beaches in Sicily in August. This hotel is equipped with whatever guests can ask for, it s enormous and the two swimming pools are lovely. The beach is one of the best I have ever visited. So sad to notice that the hotel is very old but most of all, that bathrooms are dirty and this is absolutely unacceptable.

I have been here for 12 days, with my girlfriend. Let me some up some of the details. The room: Well the pictures that we saw before deciding to go on a holiday could be a bit deceiving. - The description says flatscreen tv, however the screen on my laptop was bigger than the screen in the room. - The beds were not comfortable unfortunately, so both me and my girlfriend slept poorly. I could feel the springs through the matras. - The furniture seems a bit dated. Reception: - Yes there is someone present 24 hours per day, however I would have figured everyone spoke proper English, at least good enough to be able to answer some questions. It felt difficult some times to get the information we were after, as we saw the struggle the receptionists had with our questions. Examples of questions asked were, "sorry our safe has been locked since our arrival, could you send the handy man to open it for us please?" or "Where can we find a good pizzaria?" Overall: The hotel is an all inclusive hotel, the food was quite poor. I felt that breakfast was the highlight of the day, however even there they only served croissants and some slices of bread. There was fruit, cereal and of course eggs with sausages. However no buns, no real spreads of any kind. With dinner the highlight was at times the meat they served, it was great. The rest however was not all that great, eating became more a chore in those 12 days then a feast. - Internet/Wifi, it is there but at a cost of 2 euro's per device per day. I would suggest to incorporate this in the price with 1 euro per person or 2 euro's per room. Its an all inclusive hotel, it felt really cheap to see they charge 2 euro;s for wifi. -Parking in front of the hotel cost you 10 euro's per day. However not even 20 metres (60ft) further you could park for free... That too felt off to me, again incorporate this in your price and you might actually earn more. - The view Now this is something really epic. If you get outside the hotel and walk to the beachpool area, you will find a magnificent view. It felt really well maintained. I added some pictures, as the hotel is located at the east of the island of Sicily you can watch beautiful sunrises. The Hotel is cheap, so if you are on a budget and have low expectations it might be something for you. For me and my girlfriend we were happy to go back home and finally get a good night sleep.

The company covers about 7 hectares on the territory of Noto, UNESCO world heritage city of Baroque and about 16 km from Syracuse. It rises on the Necropolis of Cozzo Guardiole that gives it its name, as situated on a rocky hill of modest height, from which you can enjoy a wonderful panorama. The land is flanked by the Walloon Cugno Wolf rich Mediterranean vegetation, and many plants such as Thyme, Sage, Capers, Borage, Nettle, etc.
marvellous place to stay 2 or 3 nights. Nancy is a wonderful and charming host who comes across as genuine and generous. The atmosphere is cool and artistic .the decor is so tastefully arranged . We had the whole place to ourselves, as the only guests, which added to our appreciation ( especially of the beautiful pool). The icing on the cake is the food - dinners prepared by Nancy or her husband are sumptuous, full of local super-fresh ingredients. Those dinners were highlight Of our 2 weeks in Sicily. lovely !!
