The Art Nouveau style, the garden that surrounds the house and the carefully furnished interiors make this b&b in Marghera one of the most splendid villas in the area.
A lovely gem of a hotel. Loved staying here and would not hesitate to return. Lovely big ceilings, sparkling clean rooms & bathrooms and a filling breakfast. We were checked in by the nicest gentleman who spoke excellent English but was prepared to talk to me in my pathetic Italiano. The rooms have a kettle, teas, coffee and biscuits etc. A mere 4 minute max walk to station if you are walking slowly. The trains to Venice are very frequent and cost less than €2.00 Big tip: when you come to the hotel by train you will come into Mestre station. whatever you do, don’t go up the stairs to exit rather follow the signs towards “Ulloa”. We went out the upstairs exit and got really lost. We crossed over but That side of the train tracks is to be absolutely avoided! So when you arrive at the station stay down below. Once you come up the ramp to the street the hotel is on your left hand side around 150 metres. If that gate is shut then turn left at the corner and you will have the front of the hotel on your left just a few metres away.

Hotel is in a perfect location near to the beach, short walk to vaporetto and Gran Vialle also close to local restaurants and bars in the area. It is on the side of a canal, very peaceful. We were in Audrey Hepburn room with a balcony, large room, fantastic shower and very comfortable bed. There was a little fridge in the room to keep our water/drinks cool. Hotel and room were scrupulously clean. It is simply furnished but perfect for a city stay and it always smelt lovely when we cam back. Very friendly. Would stay again.

My parents booked a trip to this place in 2020 to take my daughter to Italy during her summer break, we do not live in Europe. Sure enough the pandemic hit and they could not travel to Italy since the country was shut. Booking.com worked a voucher with Claudio (I have the email confirmation saying that they can go there until December of 2022). I reached out to him saying that they would like to use the voucher this summer but Claudio's response was the following: -to prove that I already payed (he used the money from 2020 till now, but he does not recall them paying) -the prices went up, the room is now 160 euro, I would have had to pay extra to be able to use the voucher he committed to honor -they can only stay two nights After back and forth conversations, he says he is trying to help me and that he lost one million dollars and people lost their lives and I argue for 160 euro? I am just baffled with his infatuation and his greediness and the way he dealt with the entire situation. I would advise anyone trying to book here to stay away cause on top of being a piece of crap from what other reviewers are saying, the gentleman who owns it does not care much of his guests but more about the one million he lost!

Ca' Mazzega offers four holiday apartments in Venice strategically located and facing the Grand Canal of Murano. All apartments are equipped with all comforts (security door, air conditioning, SAT TV, washing machine, dishwasher) and the furnishing is typically Venetian with some antiques, prints and glass chandeliers from Murano.
We only stayed two nights but would have loved to be able to extend it. The staff were very helpful and arranged our arrival so we didn't need to divert via their office. The apartment was lovely, furnished with classic furniture, and a well thought out kitchen. Situated right next to one of the main boat stops on the island of Murano, it made trips to Venice itself, Burano and Torcello easy. There is a Co-op supermarket nearby for self-catering, and we had a choice of three sizes of espresso maker! Live like a local!

As everybody knows, Italy is now having issues with coronavirus and lot of flights have been cancelled recently. My flight was one of those and I asked them for the coronavirus policy what they reply that dont have, also they said that no managers are available and just provide you one email address that comes directly to reception. The customer service is the worse ever: unpolite, rude and careless. They dont have any coronavirus procedure at all, neither in case of an ill person in house. Unbelievable ! Better go somewhere else...

We had an enjoyable 4 nights here. The location is great - it's a bit tricky to find initially, but everywhere is tricky to find in Venice and you have to take this into account. It's v close to Rialto, a short walk to the vaparetto stop and you can get to San Marco in 15 mins if you walk briskly. We stayed in room 1 which was very large (double bed and two singles) and had a private bathroom. The water was hot and everything was clean. The building is old with hard floors so noise travels around - but this wasn't at all an issue when we stayed as fellow guests were courteous.

We enjoyed our week in this accommodation very much. The apartment was indeed clean and nice, environment was quiet - and host Gianluca Zago was most friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for us as we are keen to walk around, but there were also a waterbus stop nearby if one doesn't care so much walking.
