Ingrebourne Valley Visitor Centre is situated in Hornchurch Country Park and has fantastic views over the Valley which gives it its name. The visitor centre has a café offering light refreshments, a gift shop, an education space and offers regular events.
I go here regularly for art lessons but people go for all sorts of reasons, including running, walking groups and dog walking. The centre is a great base to meet friends and for a starting and finishing point for all activities. Lots of local information available about the wildlife and history of Hornchurch Airfield. A lovely shop, stocked with lots of interesting things to buy. The staff are welcoming, mostly volunteers. The cafe serves a range of snacks, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, paninis, soups and a good range of teas and coffees. A good seating area inside. Also a large outside area with benches for good weather and people with dogs. A great view across the lake with interesting opportunities for birdwatching. Free parking in a recently enlarged car park too.

Club Aspire at London Heathrow Terminal 3 is a brand new lounge for 2016, with a comprehensive and complimentary Food and Drink Menu, award-winning Bliss-Spa, and dedicated business and rest zones. Whatever your reason for travel, and wherever you may by flying to, ensure your journey begins in the Club Aspire Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 3.
My first visit and had the Arroz Caldo as a complimentary dish for traveling with Philippine Airlines. I also had some excellent Chicken, bacon and white bean stew. Ioana is a great cook and the whole team made me feel welcome. It’s hard to keep smiling with such a turn over of grumpy travellers but they do keep the place clean and topped up with freshly prepared food. If you fancy Arroz Caldo they have it for the daily flight to Manila so I think it’s only in the evenings. Ioana made sure I didn’t go hungry and also served me with an excellent biscuit and and coffee cake.

Offering an unrivalled range of services, including spa treatments and pod bedrooms, our award-winning No1 lounge in Heathrow allows you to take control of your pre-flight experience.
Enjoyed the Nos1 Lounge as it was included in my package holiday deal. We didn’t know what to expect but it was lovely. We were warmly greeted and taken to a reserved seating area. We received a complimentary Buck’s Fizz and was able to select from the menu and also enjoy a small Buffett. The area was relaxing and quiet. The service was excellent. If I could afford to do this on every holiday I would!

We were pleasantly surprised as the generic lounges not affiliated with airlines often do not meet the same standards Firstly the staff are very welcoming engaging efficient and professional. Inacio was our waiter and cannot fault his first class service The breakfast, ordered and served at your appointed table was superb - quality bacon sausage and tasteful scrambled egg We were most impressed with Ioana who not only a first class chef based on her breakfast offerings but went the extra mile to ask us how was our breakfast and was there anything they could do to improve The relaxed friendly atmosphere ably assisted by Ruby the manager with personal skills which reflect in herr staff Well done Aspire
