Vejer de la Frontera is a Spanish hilltop town and municipality in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, on the right bank of the river Barbate. The town of Vejer de la Frontera occupies a low hill overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar and surrounded by orchards and orange groves. It contains several ancient churches and convents, and the architecture of many of its houses recalls the period of Moorish rule, which lasted from 711 until the town was captured by Saint Ferdinand of Castile in 1248. Agriculture and fruit-farming are the chief industries; fighting bulls are also bred in the neighborhood and a running of the bulls is held annually.

We let the company know we would be on a cruise. They did not send us the meeting place before we left but provided a phone contact number. Upon arrival at Cadiz we found the number had been disconnected. We had help from two other tour operators that were very kind but also unable to contact our tour company. We wandered around for quite some time looking for anyone with a sign or our group to no avail, the tour was missed. When I requested a refund, my request was denied. They said other people were able to find them and they were not responsible for the inaccurate contact information. My error; I should have read some of the other reviews before booking!! Lesson learned, read reviews!

Born in Vejer and I live in Seville, besides living in Granada and Córdoba. I know Andalusia in depth. For 2 years I was responsible for the Forge XXI Foundation in Morocco, which worked for the personal and professional development of children. There we discovered the possibilities offered by activities related to tourism and history. And there began my love for Arab, Jewish and Christian cultures. I have been working as a guide for more than 10 years and I have organized routes for the IES Vicente Aleixandre, in meetings with International Students. I have a degree in Psychology and Expert in History of Spain
Inclusions: Castillo - Alcazaba de Vejer, incluida la visita, Private transportation, Guía de acompañamiento , Servicio de recogida y regreso desde Sevilla, Transferencia privada, Cafe / Té y Tostada

All expectations were met; both the treatment of the guide, his knowledge and the organization of the day. The visit to the spectacular town, and the food at the SUMIA Arab Restaurant to repeat. Thank you.

Gabriella and Juan were wonderful tour guides - we learned so much and saw some wonderful sites. They picked us up from our hotel right on time and we enjoyed an entertaining and educational road trip to Ronda. We loved this town and the great stores about Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles made it even more enjoyable. Sentinil is such a cute town as well and the houses and bars against the mountain are so unique! We had a great time and we highly recommend this tour! ????
Special because, although I am born in Spain, I have been in Morocco for more than 20 years. I am aware of their traditions and customs. I love the country. And I have very good friends. Special because we will go at your own pace, in a maximum group of 6 people. Stop when you need it and change the hours, if necessary. Special because we will move away in the measure of conventional tourism and large groups. Special because we will go to the house of my friends Bere Beres, and maybe even invite us to eat, if they don't have much work. It will be the best of the whole trip.
