We've been visiting Rome for the past few years and used Roma Travel for Airport transfers, but due to the rather special situation this year also from transportation inside Rome. Despite some way-finding challenges, we had a wonderful three day self guided trek with Toto and Luna. Very good, kind donkeys who would cope with everything we asked of them. Super Agriturismos along the way for the overnight stays and amazing paddocks full of orchids. We have never seen anything like this before. The walk itself had some steep stony climbs, so not for the unfit (and young children might have found the route tough too) but worth the effort for the rewards at the top and the companionship of these lovely donkeys.

We went to a music concert in the abbey and it was exquisite. The nearby walks are also very pleasant but it does get quite busy.
