Something different from the usual gallery. Open hours : Thursday - Sunday
Stopped in on this little treasure whilst road tripping from Canberra to Melbourne on the Hume Highway with my two little humans (6 and 8 y.o.) Definitely worth the small detour off the Hume. A lovingly restored old art deco style service station converted into a gallery/cafe in the quaint little town of Yass, with lots of quirky and eclectic creativity on display. Great spot for some cute pics. The kids also enjoyed discovering all of the different sculptures, mosaics and paintings throughout the "not" gallery and gardens. Great for a decent coffee and cake (or light meals) to nourish the body, and the rest of the experience for the soul. Steeped in history, yet refreshingly cool, an unexpected surprise. Very happy with my decision to stop in. The kids were too.

Found the most peaceful park bench in Yass NSW while out on a lovely walk around Riverbank Park. This is a lovely circuit that goes right around the river running through town and also out along the gorge towards the dam. It has a lovely park also for kids ???? “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.
