A spectacular trail with three different environments: tablelands, forest and coast. There's a fair amount of up-and-down but nothing too overwhelming. Arriving at the shore and seeing the cliffs and sea stacks was magical.

Walked this trail while visiting Trout River, NL. The trail begins with stairs at the end of the town's boardwalk. From there, the trail runs along top of the cliffs. The hike is in/out and has beautiful vantage points and views back to Trout River. Some treed portions on the trail but mainly walking through grassy areas (no cover). Nice wildflowers along the trail as well. A worthwhile excursion that isn't crowded like some of the Gros Morne NP trails in the area.
