Very friendly staff, perfect location for this moving exhibition, incredibly cheap entrance fee. Good job altogether. Will definitely visit again.

Mathildedal is an idyllic ironworks from 1850s. Today it is a home for tourism and culture. We offer a variety of occasions and services thoughout the year: hotel, restaurant, café, shops, Exhibitions, guided tours, theater, Concerts and other events.Old factory buildings, friendly service and the park-like surroundings near the sea offer experiences, harmony and rugged beauty for all senses.
Ironworks in Mathildedal (Mathildedahlin ruukkitehtaat) are definitely place to be if you are in vicinity of Salo. There are nice restaurants and coffee places, shops and Exhibitions which tells you the history of making iron. Also there is a home brewery where you can buy different brews of ale. One speciality is shop that makes and sells clothes from alpaca wool. There's also few alpacas in corral where you can wonder the strange animal.

Very professional guide, knows the waters and the fish. Excellent service throughout the day. Very good gears and boat, warm clothing let us concentrate on fishing. We got a lot of perches, pikes and pikeperches. Relaxing fishing trip in a very friendly atmosphere.

Muurlan lasitehdas (glassfactory) is located By one of the busiest motorways in Finland. The glass factory has a shop and a cafe-restaurant & bakery. Muurla is a well-known brand in Finland with over 1000 resellers nationwide. The factory outlet sells mainly Muurla products, but also a wide range of other home decor and gift items. It has been granted the Design from Finland mark.
I visit this Muurla coffee and restaurant with my colleagues and customers for lunch. Breads seem to be homemade and chicken basket brings fresh fried chicken fillets with fried potatoes and onions. Customers order stakes, and they seem to be good also.
Of course there are Muurla glass shop near coffee or restaurant.

As a mum of young children living in a country with long winters, I appreciate having somewhere to take them on a rainy or snowy day. I've been to lots of soft-play centres, but I can genuinely recommend this one. It is spacious, clean and a lot of thought has been put into the equipment. There are comfortable sofas for the adults to sit on as well as free use of computers and massage chairs. It is also possible to arrange children's parties here. Although drinks are a little pricey, water is free which is excellent and not always the case. My only suggestion for improvement would be some sort of loyalty card system to reward large families and frequent users. At 9 euros for under twos and 13 euros for over twos the price of an afternoon out soon adds up, but at this place I would say that it's worth it. Great addition to Salo.
