We visited today by easy arrangement and were guided round the sanctuary by Desiree a volunteer who was very informative. The key objective is to rehabilitate wild animals if they become orphaned or injured. They do have some residents who now live there due to circumstances that prevent them from adapting to living wild... We met them all and they are beautiful .. so well cared for and valued. A great visit if you are a wildlife lover of all ages

When visiting the area we usually drive through from Parry Sound to Huntsville but have ne ear really stooped in Rosseau. We spent a few days in the area in the spring and took a drive specifically to check out the Rosseau area. I was in need of a coffee and a sweet (always treating myself while away :) and went into the general store. I big place ki da deceiving but once inside there were many different areas to shop browse and even see something new. We chatted with the owners for a bit before we headed down the highway. We will stop in there whenever we are passing through. A nice find.
