Went for the entertainment that night in the center balcony, great seats, yet being short we did move during intermission to the side balcony, seats and floor are on a slant so if you have balance issues it could be a problem.I will say the historic charm and stage is fantastic.I plan to go to more events, maybe on the first floor.Truly a great place.

I highly recommend getting the video, especially if it's your first jump. I've watched mine three times in the last two days, and still get goosebumps!

We were planning a trip to Boston's children museum. We then figured that our three-year-old might do better at a smaller and closer venue for her first museum trip. This is not a small museum. We were all thoroughly entertained with so many exhibits for younger children. It was a rainy day, so it was a bit crowded. We plan on coming back soon when it might be less crowded. Fun day!

It's an old carriage house turned into a bar. Love the big doors that open up, letting the fresh air in, and all the beer pulls hanging from the ceiling. Otherwise, the food is below average and the live entertainment isn't really that great. Service is good most of the time.

This place has Lego Lounge, great for kids or adults. It also is adding a game room, with old school nintendo right through to current consoles. They will be hosting game tournaments, birthday parties, classes, anything the community wants. It also sells all the 80s toy collectibles you could want. Anything from star wars to vintage nintendo games. Definately worth the visit.

During a daytrip to Rochester during a week of staycation, I shopped the downtown.

Located just down the street from Collec-tiques and Skele-Tone Records, the Under The Moon Shoppe is a third distinctly different business that makes Rochester’s downtown stand apart from the average run-of-the-mill downtown.

The Under The Moon Shoppe had a wide variety of items that fit into the categories of New Age, Herbal, Metaphysical, Reiki, Pagan, and Wicca.

During my visit, I found crystals in packets and attached to jewelry, herbals, essential oils, incense, candles, cards, books, and even walking sticks.

The necklaces with crystal pendulums I saw there for $21.99 were of much better quality and prettier that a small, rather plain one I paid $18.00 for elsewhere. So, I'd call pricing quite fair.

It was an interesting shop that I will visit again when I need to replace my essential oils for potpourri or a medicinal herbal tea.

I rate the Under The Moon Shoppe at 4.0.

Skele-Tone Records

Reviewed By Maurene_K - Dover, New Hampshire

On daytrip to Rochester during a week-long staycation, I shopped the downtown.

Located right near Collec-tiques and Mel Flanagan’s in downtown Rochester, Skele-Tone Records is a great retailer of new and used records and rock ‘n roll clothing and memorabilia in two adjacent storefronts.

The store carries a wide selection of rock, punk, alt, metal, and blues CD’s, vinyl records, 8 track tapes, 45’s, and cassettes. I even spotted some VHS tapes.

The store is very organized. It is divided into sections based on genre of music. I found the CD’s sorted alphabetically. It was easy to find specific artists.

On the day of my visit, there was a Buy Two, Get One Free deal running. I got:
● USED - Greatest Hits – The Jeff Healey Band
● NEW – Love Songs - Elton John
● USED – Greatest Hits – Billy Idol
● NEW – The Essential Clash – The Clash
● USED – Number Ones - Abba
● USED – 70th Birthday Concert – John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers and Friends

Todd, the owner, was very knowledgeable. So was his assistant.

There was plenty free on-street parking out front.

This store and Pitchfork Records Stereo in Concord are two of just a handful of stores of this kind and caliber in New Hampshire.

I rate Skele-Tone Records at 4.50. I highly recommend a visit of an hour or more.

I've been going to Jetpack for years for all my comic and gaming needs. Not only do they have the current DC/Marvel comics but many other small publishers as well. They also carry the latest RPG books and a wide assortment of other board games. One of my favorite new attractions is their range of Gundam models. Jetpack also features many weekly gaming events such as Magic the Gathering and D&D Adventure League. They have a large gaming area where you can gather with friends to play many different types of games.
