Beautiful wines. Lovely, friendly lady at cellar door. Look out for ‘Gravel’ the dog - what a welcome he gave us!

At The Margaret River Chocolate Company we're mad about chocolate! With factories in both the Margaret River and Swan Valley wine regions of Western Australia and a concept store in Perth City, we have been making award-winning chocolate products since 1999. All three sites provide a fascinating insight into the world of chocolate, with free chocolate tastings and interactive displays, with the two factories also providing viewing windows to watch the chocolate products being made. The Margaret River Chocolate Company makes and sells a mouth-watering range of chocolate bars, chocolate coated delights, hand made truffles, novelty chocolates, chocolate sauces and much more. Both chocolate factories are open from 9am-5pm every day of the year except Christmas Day, while trading hours at the Perth City store mirror those of other city-based retailers.
Even Covid 19 doesn’t stop them from allowing you to sample their yummy chocolate buttons. Whilst not served in a huge bowl they are on tap – but at least you can still have a tasting. Milk and Dark chocolate only, no white choc. We went on a Saturday and the place is always busy. We never leave empty handed.

Was a last minute decision to pop in on our way back to our hotel after a full day out. Was only half hour before it closed. But plenty of people still inside. They used to do tastings, but stopped now because of the restrictions. But we know our favourites and very happy with our choice of yoghurt, cheeses, crackers and plum paste! Didn't realise they had ice cream too! So a very generousl scoop in a cup was wonderful! So creamy! Service was excellent , very friendly. Ice blocks are available to purchase, along with cooler bags. Plenty of choice in dairy products, along with cheese boards and knives, ceramic table ware and a few other culinary goodies!

Much cooler and classier than expected, after an awesome big shed with a much appreciated pot belly stove in the middle. Husband liked trying the beers and got a couple of four packs. I liked the cider but would like to see another cider on the menu. Although its always so much better on tap, will look for it in the shops now. Food menu looked pretty good and great to see dogs allowed inside on a rainy day. Would love to head back here in summer for boozy lunch. Beer lovers will appreciate the paddles here, they looked good.

Loved every minute. Waking up with kangaroos just outside, the carnabys flying over and watching the monitor lizards. Sunsets and sunrises. Perfect place to escape the daily grind
