We stopped here on a rainy afternoon so we did not get to enjoy the grounds though they looked lovely. The wines were mostly on the sweeter side though there were several dry options as well. The frozen apple drink however is to die for. It was so delicious. We bought some cheese and crackers and sat around talking and drinking the delicious slushies. The staff was very pleasant as was the resident dog. I would definitely come back here.

Dont miss the Oliver experience. Great selection of all varieties including hard-to-find categories like hard cider (hold my beer Strongbow). The tasting room is complete with high end picnic like foods to enjoy on the many shaded outdoor eating areas.

Hunter's Honey Farm is a family owned and operated farm. We are a fourth generation of beekeepers who have been producing honey and honey related products in Indiana for over 100 years. We have a giftshop that is open to the public and tours that can be reserved upon reservation.
This place is worth the drive! We went as a family and did the tour. The guide was friendly and helpful, and the tour was very interesting! The kids each made a candle by rolling beeswax, and then they got to pour honey into their own plastic bear container. There is a charge for the tour, as well as an additional fee for each candle and each honey bear, but the total was not very expensive. Also, you can find them at the Bloomington Farmers Market in the summer if you need more honey, or some beeswax! I called to ask them if they brought the beeswax candle kits to the market, and they said no, but they would bring one that week for me, and they did! Great service, great product! Check them out at the farm or at the market! And be sure to follow them on Facebook, as they have a big fall festival every year with lots of things to see and do!

If you like Brown County State Park but don't want to pay to enter, this is the place to go. Trails vary in length and difficulty; each are nice. Wife and I did the Low Gap trail. First half was very beautiful. Map says the trail was 10.1 miles but our GPS watches had us just over 11. Didn't matter, such a great trail and view. Afterwards we exited on Old SR 37 and ventured north to Martinsville. From there we headed east on US 252 and visited Cedar Creek brewery/winery. Plan your trip and get out there. Cheers!

This hidden gem is a true local arts incubator, located in Martinsville, Indiana, just a short walk from the downtown square. The Art Sanctuary is located in a building that formerly served as the United Methodist Church. When the church moved to a new location, the Art Sanctuary of Indiana was born, providing studio space for local artists of all kinds - you'll find amazing works of fine art, porcelain painting, fiber arts, three-dimensional artworks, pottery, jewelry and more!
On the Second Friday of each month, there is an Open Studio Night, from 6-9 pm. Several artists are on hand to talk about their work and often there is also a special exhibit in the main gallery, formerly the church sanctuary, which also features beautiful stained glass.
The facility also offers arts classes and workshop, and the space can be rented for special events.

This is a very cute store with a large and interesting selection of items for sale. The woman working the cash register the day of our visit was very nice and friendly. They have a mix of handmade and regular items for sale. We were able to watch hand-hooked rugs being made and the ladies were more than happy to explain the process to us.

We are a retail home to over 20 artists. Some of the art is jewelry, pottery, textile art, fine art, glass art, metal art and more. Our products are always changing as most of them are one of a kind type things.
This is an adorable little store in Martinsville. They sell quality handmade items and have a wonderful selection. We were able to find several gifts for both us and family members.

Bradford Woods has 2,500 acres of pristine land, including a 110-acre lake, swimming pool, climbing tower, archery range, and more than 10 miles of hiking trails for our guests to enjoy. Guests may use our hiking maps for a self-guided nature walk and enjoy other land-based activities, but other activities involving Bradford Woods’ waterfront and challenge areas need to be arranged with your event coordinator prior to your visit. It's not a place to stop by to hike or fish for an individual; you must make prior arrangements to use the facility; it is privately owned by Indiana University and offers many different group programs for kids, adults, and persons with disabilities.
