Larkana (Urdu: لاڑکانہ; Sindhi: لاڙڪاڻو) is a city in the north-west of the Sindh province of Pakistan, where the historic Indus River flows in south of the city. It is called the city of Holy Alams due to the greatest number of Holy Alams as compared to other cities or regions of the world. It is home to the Indus Valley Civilization site Mohenjo-daro, which is larger in size than Babylonia and Assyria.

It is very old civilization and it's defendants can be witnessed though explored area demonstrating very well planned city having all sorts of infrastructure, savage lines, private bathroom, separate servant Quarters, very nice streets, well planned houses and so on.
It is very difficult to write all about this historic place. I would recommend to explore by yourself and witness the place. There is a museum which provides explored items and their description for your understanding.
It is better to visit during winter season because temperature in summer rises upto 53 degree Celsius.
You can access the place through airport and through road if you are already travelling in nearby cities.

place where the Bhuttos are buried. Impresive from far and outside, but once inside, its very ordinary, looks unfinished and the quality of construction is poor. HUGE waste of public money.

This place is now been polluted and not taken proper care by the authorities which has led the place unpleasant. Probably in the meanwhile local government take measures to beautify the park. It is serving a nice place for locals specially in the evening to relax and enjoy with family and friends.

huge mausoleum signifying nothing. Criminal waste of public money surrounded by extreme poverty. The quality of construction is poor inspite of the fact that huge amount of money has already been spent on it. It will soon become a place where the poor come to seek salvation.
