The Star of the Desert Arena is a 6,500 seat arena known for concerts, rodeo and boxing action.
This summer we saw Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Daniels & Trace Adkins, and Clint Black. Great venue, every seat is a good seat. Do not hesitate to puchase seats for any show of your liking. Sound is clear and clean. Seats are comfortable and affordable. Plenty of free parking.

My husband, our 2 month old son, our golden retriever and I got to visit the Seven Magic Mountains and i thought it was super cool! I am always interested to see art installations that are out of the ordinary and/or in random places so this did not disappoint. The rainbow rock towers are basically in the middle of nowhere in terms of that area so it looks amazing against a backdrop of desert hills and a big blue sky. Once you park, it just takes a couple minutes to walk down the dusty path to the site. It was 100 degrees when we were there but the walk is short and after snapping 10 photos we were back in our A/C’d car in no time. We had some time to stop on our way home back to Orange County after a long road trip down the 15 South and it wasn’t too far off the beaten path so don’t worry about eating up too much time. Instagram worth for sure ????.
