This place is great, its got such a nice atmosphere and is so much fun. I hadn't been bowling in years because I didn't know anywhere close that still had a bowling alley and once we found this place its been amazing! The food is very good and the staff are super friendly! A great night with friends or party for kids or date night! Highly recommend GR8 Entertainment!

Concra Wood Golf & Country Club opened its doors in 2007. It is located in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and is only one hour from both Belfast and Dublin. It is open 7 days a week to the public for green fees, food & drink. The new state-of-the-art clubhouse is a stunning addition to Concra Wood. Located at the highest point it offers panoramic views of Monaghan’s stunning scenery, and far beyond.
Lovely part of Ireland to escape to for a wee romantic getaway in the bustle of a mad Christmas - getting beautiful views, friendly approachable service by busy staff and laying on romance and charm of Kavanagh’s stony grey soil of Monaghan Shared a three course meal; she loved it

We recently visited the Big Tom Statue & his grave. The statue was very easy to find & nicely kept, we got some lovely pics, his grave is a few miles outside the town, we asked for directions in a local shop. My mum is a huge fan of his music, after visiting both we called into Eileen’s Tea Rooms, Main Street & was greeted by the friendliest staff we have ever met, Eileen & Fiona, Thank you for everything, you made us feel so welcome, & made our trip from Mayo so worthwhile!!! the tea rooms has so many photos of the biggest country music stars, they showed us where Big Tom used to sit in their Tea Rooms, they made our trip!!! they were so helpful, friendly & the food was delicious. If visiting the statue a visit to Eileen’s Tea Rooms is a must!!
An art glass studio, located in a renovated old blacksmith's forge, in a very scenic, rural hilltop 10 minutes drive from Castleblayney, and half an hour from Dundalk, Newry, Monaghan, Carrickmacross. All the glass is designed and made on the premises. Meet Grace, the maker, and see some of the process that goes into making a piece of fused glass. Choose a hand-crafted glass gift to bring home!
