The Grade 2 listed building is the hub of the village of Alnmouth. It hosts a variety of events, ranging from plays, concerts, coffee mornings, food and Art and Craft fairs, wine and cheese events, private parties (adult's and children's) and lots of exercise classes to meet the needs of our visitors and residents. The hall makes a perfect venue for Wedding receptions with fabulous photographic opportunities being close to the beach. There are 2 halls available to hire; a small meeting room downstairs, a large hall upstairs and a full catering kitchen. We have level access of the main street and there is a disabled toilet and a lift to the first floor.

My wife and I had a delicious Sunday lunch at the Alnmouth village golf club. We both enjoyed the mini lamb shanks which were "falling off the bone" tender with a selection of veg and minted gravy to accompany the yorkshire pud, mashed and roast spuds. We were both to full to try the puddings but they looked good too. We can definitely recommend this place for a good meal in very pleasant surroundings with views across the golf course, served by the friendly team. We hope to be back again soon.

Based in a beautiful old school building, we have a unique and inspiring collection of affordable art and prints by artists from Northumberland and further afield. We are always sourcing pictures that would look great in the home – we hope you like them too! You can take it all in whilst you enjoy a delicious fresh coffee and a tasty homemade cake in our gallery coffee shop.
We went to the gallery coffee shop to have a late morning break and discovered an amazing array of artwork for sale. There were pictures both framed and just matted. There were calendars, mugs, coasters, books, pottery, and jewelry. The price range was from very reasonable to very expensive, but there was such a wide array, that you are likely to find something to your taste and in your budget range. A lucky find for sure.

Alnmouth Golf Club overlooks the splendours of both Foxton and Alnmouth Bay on the Northumberland coastline in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. It is widely regarded as one of the finest golf courses in the North East of England. Although the course has a coastal location it has parkland turf and a reputation for the fine quality of the greens and superb presentation. Recently chosen as one of the TOP 100 HIDDEN GEM golf courses in the UK by Golf Monthly magazine. We are a private members club with active Mens and Ladies sections, friendly clubhouse atmosphere and very strong junior section. Visitors are always given a warm Northumbrian welcome at Alnmouth where we have buggies for hire and first class practice facilities. A special feature of "Foxton", as we are generally known, is a 26-bed Dormy House within the clubhouse offering hotel accommodation, English Tourism 3 Star rating, to groups of visiting golfers in very comfortable twin or single rooms with en suite facilities. We offer a full range of stay and play golfbreaks for groups and couples. SKY SPORTS TV AVAILABLE IN THE CLUBHOUSE. RELAX AFTER A ROUND WATCHING LIVE SPORT AT FOXTON HALL DRIVING RANGE AND FIRST CLASS PRACTICE FACILITIES AVAILABLE
We often stop off at this welcoming golf club cafe for a snack when out walking along the beautiful Northumberland coastline. Friendly staff, and visitors are always made welcome, even if not playing golf! Good value, simple food, with no frills.

The views of Alnmouth & surrounding areas are superb, this hill is steeped in history as are many parts of Northumberland, just be careful how you tread when venturing over as the tide comes in rapidly.

A truly beautiful beach with a long sandy coastline, excellent for a beautiful walk whatever the weather, backed by sand dunes and a golf course running through the side of it, you can walk for miles here and sometimes not see anyone else.

You could probably fit no more than 3 or 4 people inside at any one point but very interesting. It relies on trust, as it's unmanned and has a donation box and artwork on the walls - which is wholesome and reflects how the community and visitors are in the area. It's an interesting museum if you're interested in the local history which I am.
