So, at Starkey, they have a ton of campsites, each has a picnic table, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. They also provide fire wood for all the campers, I recommend bringing a hatchet or an axe. The bathrooms were clean, and the showers get nice and hot. The camp sites are patrolled by rangers throughout the day, and all of them were super nice. They do provide trash cans to throw away your garbage, but beware, raccoons can open them, our trash bag tried to walk away the second night we were there. It was pretty quiet and super peaceful. Can't wait to go back!

This five mile long barrier island is pristine beauty and turquoise water. Great shelling lots of privacy if you want. Has a historic lighthouse that you can go up in one time a month for a tour check with Anclote lighthouse for info. The northern end of island has an isolated sandbar so if you are young and single that is where to mingle on the weekends. Southern end is crowded but pretty.

This park has been beautifully renovated with nice walking areas, playground with water park for the kids, and built in exercise equipment. It is located on the river where you can fish. Free concerts and movies are also held there occasionally.

This park has a lot to offer. Kids are happy and content with all the playground equipment . Parking can be a problem but we usually just wait a few minutes and get a spot . We call it our "hot dog beach" because there is a nice gentleman that cooks hot dogs all day there we always patronize his stand. Thank you for keeping this stand opened for us hot doggers . The beach is nice too ! Never did see the boardwalk . Need to explore next time around.

Wow this place has really changed and for the better! I could not believe my eyes when I a walked in on Wednesday. This has always been a nice bowling facility but it's grown and expanded to the point where it is more like a fully equipped family and friend activity center. I could not imagine that anyone visiting this bowling center being unable to find something that they enjoy. They have great lanes that are equipped with a user friendly computerized scoring system. If you need bumper rails or the ball ramps they have those as well. They are also one of the few bowing centers that I have visited that have several of the lighter bowling balls (8 lbs) with the finger holes drilled far enough apart and large enough to be comfortable for adult use. I have back and knee issues so this was a pleasant surprise for me and made it easier for me to enjoy this activity with my friends and family. The snack bar was well staffed at all times and everything was reasonably priced - I loved their cheeseburgers, fries and wings. The arcade has a nice variety of games in it that appeal to the old and young alike (does anyone ever truly out grow Ski Ball and Table Hockey? lol) They also offer a sizable laser tag room with glow in the dark accents as well as a new ninja warrior style course the truly blew my mind. And if none of that floats your boat - you can go to the attached sports bar - Hurricanes - to enjoy music, a cool drink or cocktail, pool or darts.
