Fantastic, relaxing boat trips on a traditional wooden vessel, the Reis Jorge, along the Algarve coast to Carvoeiro meandering through the breathtaking caves. River trips along the Arade River, appreciating the magnificent flora and fauna on the way (ideal for keen birdwatchers), up to the historical city of Silves with it's Moorish castle and cathedral, or to Sitio das Fontes in Estombar. Tailormade trips and/or harbour excursions. Typical Portuguese fishing boat skippered by Ferragudo fisherman Luis. Takes up to 9 passengers and offers a great trip for all the family. Refreshments included. Private charters available.

Yes if your in the Rocha/Portimao area its a must....It's only a short distance but you must go across by the fun way, the Ferry, booked through our hotel and they call the skipper so it's not a long wait, when you get dropped off the skipper will ask when you want picking up, it leaves from the Marina sea wall and drops you at Ferragudo landing steps, if your just sightseeing about 2 hrs will be enough, it's a steep climb to the church above, never saw the church open though, but still a good view from there, if your going for a meal or using the beach you may need longer. So for 9 euros return it's a great holiday filler and your visiting the place you've been looking at for ages

After studying Marine Biology and becoming experienced nature guides, we've created our own small company to organize snorkeling and cave crossing tours. Our biggest joy is to welcome travelers in Portugal, sharing its landscapes and special places that aren't so easy to find. More info at www.zipandtripalgarve.com Small/Private groups, photos, picnic & equipment included.

Nice beach. Perfect for kids. Love it. Calm water and not deep. Has a restaurant. This beach is busy with parking.

Gorgeous small beach surrounded by cliffs. The restaurant Praia da Rei on the beach is also worth going in as the food there is incredible - especially the seafood. We had the beach to ourself but it was November! There’s some great cliff walks that lead to here too.
