Phang Nga is famous for spectacular scenery with limestone cliffs rising out of green water. There are caves, lagoons and tiny secluded beaches awaiting discovery.
Phanga Nga Bay is a visual treat for all your senses. A boat trip through the waters to various islands in this Bay is a must do activity. I did a big-boat tour through BJ Canoe agency and they take you to various islands like James Bond island, Hong Island, Panak island etc. Kayaking through the shallow waters of this bay is an memorable experience. Though it's a typical touristy route, it's still a great experience to witness the islands and the magnificent limestone rocks emerging out of the sea.

Canoeing on this beautiful ocean and scenes, during the low tide, we were able to go through a so called bat cave (tunnel) to the internal amazing lagoons. We were to,d there are five or six this kind of lagoons around here. It’s gorgeous and fabulous to relax and meditate somewhat to fully enjoy the nature beauties to recharge yourself. A nice place to visit during your Ohuket trip fir sure!

Have heard so much about this place. Unique for having a floating football pitch. This is usually the pit stop for lunch during a day cruise. You walk through the island literally through people's homes. You can buy dried fish and other local fare. You get a first hand experience of how the islanders live.

Crystal clear water awaits you, take sunblock as you can get very sunburnt. 100thb to rent a chair to chill for the entire time you are there. We booked with PNT Travel and paid 2000THB for 2 people for a FULL DAY Khai Island tour including transfer to and from hotel, lunch and on the speed boat. Simon was our guide and what an amazing and humble human being. Please DO tip them after the trip as they go out of their way to make sure you are safe and comfortable. 3 Islands, amazing trip and well worth it!

We went on a 3 island half day tour to the khai islands of nok, Nui and Nai. Khai Nok was the first stop off and I was glad we got there early in the day, before it was over run with tourist boats. We snorkeled straight off the beach, my daughter isn’t a keen swimmer, but she was comfortable swimming holding hands with me. The coral wasn’t impressive, but the number and variety of tropical fish was amazing, especially so close to the shore. We must have seen at least 10 or 12 different varieties, from tiny bright blue ones to large rainbow coloured ones and every size and colour in between. The beach itself has soft white sand and a safe area to swim, away from the inevitable tourist boats. There are covered seating areas you can pay for and food and drinks to buy, but we really only wanted to swim and snorkel during our short visit. Soon it was time to zip off to the other 2 islands , which were similar, but less impressive and because it was later in the day, more crowded. So, a quick trip from Phuket, 20 minutes by speedboat and perfect for families or swimmers who aren’t so confident.
