Cabañeros National Park is located in Toledo's Hills, in Castilla-La Mancha, in the northwest of the province of Ciudad Real and southwest of Toledo. It was declared a National Park in 1995 with the aim of protecting the best and most representative sample of the Mediterranean forest in Spain. The Park has visitor centers, museums and information points, where you can enjoy exhibitions about the natural and cultural heritage of the park and its surroundings. Access to all of them is free. It also has walking routes, to do by your own or with free guide, and 4x4 guided routes, with the company Visitacabaneros. It is recommended to combine both types of routes as they run through different areas of the interior of the national park.
