The shop contains a working studio and also features hand-dyed and painted leather goods and textiles from the artist next door. All of the pottery is dishwasher and microwave-safe. There are wooden bowls, spoons and utensils. Also a very nice set of handmade 'clic' style pens and stainless steel handmade forks, knives and spoons that are also dishwasher-safe. I always take a look inside this shop when I am in Clarkesville, I never know what kind of treasures I might come across. There is so much to see and I have found several things that I purchased at very reasonable prices. Everything is very well organized and the girls are obviously very particular about what they bring into the shop. There are some beautifully restored and painted pieces for sale, as well as a clothing section in the rear of the store. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to look around.

Flyhawk Farm & Tasting Room is a “must see” which does not disappoint. I have visited numerous tasting rooms in North Georgia over the years and this one was by far, the best! The owners are so lovely and the staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The tasting room is georgeous and the wine is exquisite. You will be blown away by the breathtaking views of the grounds, horses and Yonah Mountain. I highly recommend a visit.

Mark Of The Potter is the oldest craft shop in the same location in Georgia. For over 50 years now we have endeavored to provide the best functional stoneware by our own potters and specially selected potters from around the southeast and U.S.A. We are located on the Scenic 197 Moonshine Highway 10 miles north of Clarkesville, Georgia. Come visit us and then write a review. We appreciate hearing what our customers like and what we could do to improve our shop.
Really nice pottery gallery, located in an old mill - beautiful setting on the river. Good selection of pottery in a variety of price ranges. Worth driving a few miles out of the way just for the view!

OVER 100 YEARS OF AUTOMOTIVE HISTORY Our ever-changing, co-op museum features over 100 years of automotive history. Exhibits change often so there is always something new to see. Located in the Old Clarkesville Mill, along side one of the largest indoor antique malls in Georgia, Miles Through Time Automotive Museum boasts over 100 years of automotive history, memorabilia, art, and unique historical exhibits you won’t find anywhere else. Unlike other museums where the same displays sit there year after year, Miles Through Time’s change often…which means more opportunities for you to see more cars and more history. Memberships are available so you can come back again and again. Miles Through Time is a nonprofit, “living” co-op-style automotive and history museum in Clarkesville, GA. Automobiles, memorabilia and historical exhibits have all been donated or belong to those who support the museum and the historical preservation mission of Miles Through Time.
In early March 2021, I was in Atlanta for a business trade show. I was able to finish everything I needed to accomplish on Saturday which provided me with time on Sunday morning to visit this museum before I drove home. This is NOT the Peterson Auto Museum or the Henry Ford Museum. However, this museum is EVERY car (or girl) guy's dream. A large space to display their automobiles and memorabilia. The items in the museum are not multi-million dollar concours pieces that only travel in covered trailers and never see the road. Instead, these are personally owned automobiles that have a great personal connection to their owners and usually are very important to their owner's families. Most of the items displayed in the museum are the life's work of collecting, restoring, and a source of family enjoyment of their respective owners. Where else does one have the opportunity to publicly indoor display the family car they rode in as a child and is now a collectible automobile that many others would enjoy seeing and reminiscing of their personal experience of a similar automobile? I find it important to note that the items on display are regularly changing, so a return trip is likely to have very different items on display than you viewed on your last visit. The drive to and from the museum is tranquil and scenic. The admission price is very fair and I found it to be an excellent value. As an added bonus, the indoor flea market that houses the museum is amusing to walk through on your way in and out of the museum. I greatly applaud Sean and everyone who keeps the museum and displays clean and regularly changing.
