Brodick (Scottish Gaelic: Tràigh a' Chaisteil ("Castle Beach") or Breadhaig) is the main town on the Isle of Arran, in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland. It is halfway along the east coast of the island, in Brodick Bay below Goat Fell, the tallest mountain on Arran. The name is derived from Norse roots meaning "Broad Bay".

The quintessential Victorian ‘Highland’ estate, Brodick Castle, Garden & Country Park on the Isle of Arran is the perfect place for a family day out.Dramatically set against the backdrop of Goatfell mountain, the grand red sandstone Scottish baronial-style castle has stunning views over Brodick Bay to the Firth of Clyde. The grounds and surrounds are worthy of a visit alone – from the W A Nesfield-influenced landscaped gardens to the woodland trails, wildlife ponds and waterfalls, there’s plenty to explore outdoors in Britain’s only island country park. Brodick Castle is packed full of treasures too – it’s renowned for its impressive collections of period furniture, silverware, porcelain, paintings and sporting trophies.
The castle was lovely, it had a lot of historical information, but also some fun for kids. The grounds were beautiful, and there was a lot to explore! This included a "fairy trail" where they've set up small houses for magical creatures to live in, and also a red squirrel viewing hut, where you can try to spot red squirrels. Great day out, worth the money, beautiful views.

This museum allows visitors to walk through original buildings from the island's distinctly issolated history and view everyday objects from 19th-century life.
On a rainy day this will be one of your favorite activities to do. Here you will be indulged with the history of Arran, geology wise, the first people who lived here, the 1700's, the 1800's, the clearances, it's all here and very informative aswell. Certainly a good thing to do for a family with children as there is a playground too.

We stayed here one night as a reward for dragging the kids up goatfell. We found the room very comfortable and spacious. The service everywhere was brilliant. The breakfast in the morning was also great. We’d definitely stay here again.

The ‘ASPA’ invites guests to take some time out for some quality “me time”, join a group of friends, get together for a girls day out or spend some quality time with a loved one. One trip to the ‘ASPA’ and you’re sure to become instantly addicted. Just 55 minutes away by boat from the Ayrshire mainland, the new ‘ASPA’ will offer spa-goers a truly unique experience. An amazing spa, beautiful island scenery and exceptional customer service. Day visitors experiences will start as soon as they board the ferry from Ayrshire – the short crossing giving guests a chance to relax as they sail towards the beautiful rugged scenery of Arran; aptly referred to as “Scotland in miniature”.
Went with a friend at short notice so only managed to get a half hour treatment each as they are quite busy. The leisure facilities are included with your booking and were really nice, standard options - pool, steam room, sauna etc. The massage was amazing and the therapist was great! Even went through different oil options etc. The relaxation area afterwards is beautiful - I’d pay just to use that! We had our choice of tea, private recliners and calming music. I could have stayed all day.

Brodick Information Centre is ideally situated directly opposite the ferry terminal. Pop in and let us help you plan your time on Arran. We sell local Taste of Arran produce including preserves, chutneys, mustards and oatcakes. Harris Tweed & Heather Gems Jewellery products are amongst our best sellers, together with local walking books and our range of Ordnance Survey maps. We can book accommodation for you on Arran, Kintyre and the Hebrides or any part of Scotland on request. During the summer sailings we can also book trips on the Waverley Paddle Steamer.
In bringing a group of French walkers to the island there was a lot of pre-planning to be done, and from the very first contact the team were excellent in responding to all my questions. By the time we arrived at Brodick all of the hard work had been done, and so our visits to the centre were primarily to buy books and souvenirs. The staff were very friendly and patient with members of my group (who generally had little or no English), and when it came to sorting out minor niggles, they responded perfectly. Thank you for your help in making our stay on Arran such a memorable occasion !

For three decades, we’ve been creating vibrant, evocative scents from our Home Farm factory, an old dairy farm for the historic Brodick Castle. We’ve grown significantly since we began as a small, family soap business, but we’ve held true to our island heritage. A sprig of gorse, a breath of sea air and a pinch of seasoned wood. These elements combine to conjure vibrant, evocative scents that are uniquely Scottish, uniquely Arran. Untouched, natural elements surround our land and water from our very own freshwater spring finds its way into each and every one of our products.
The soap and smells here were lovely and I loved every scent. Some of the prices were a bit dear and I wouldn't pay for them myself but I can understand why people would. At the back you can see the factory and also you can make your own soap, which we done. It was £20 for the four of us to make our own soap which is really good and would be fun for your children too! I'd reccomend for something fun to do or if you're maybe wanting a local present for someone.

Brewing award winning real ale on the stunning Isle of Arran for over 20 years The Isle of Arran Brewery is the only place on the island to get our full range of fantastic beers and see the traditional brewing processes we use in action. Please note we do not serve draught beer nor do we serve food.
Even when the Isle of Arran Brewery is a small one, they are doing a lot of interessting different beers. The tour was great, enjoyed it very much.
