Tin Shed Experience is a second hand tin sheeted museum housing a collection of items from 1914-45 and wartime items including some film memorabilia and props. We have an Anderson Shelter and a 1930's work-mans cottage. Over the years we have developed links with historical film and television productions such as 'Band of Brothers' and 'Saving Private Ryan'. We are also a quirky semi outdoor / undercover area for events. We are currently closed. Our exciting news is that the museum’s roof is being repaired, but we have had to close to the public for about 12 months. We would like to apologise for any disappointment which this may cause and we do look forward to welcoming you again early in 2021. The grounds remain open to the public and the Tywi Gateway Trust will continue to provide opportunities for visitors and volunteers as it restores the park and walled kitchen garden.

We were welcomed by helpful staff and given a map to guide us round the site., after stopping for cake and coffee first in the excellent cafe. A suggested donation of £5 and this represents excellent value. As a spinner I was delighted to see and converse with a spining froup in the yard plus a group of weavers etc further down the yard. The museum was good with plenty of explanations telling the history of the mill itself and the area . After a good lunch in the cafe we could watch the current mill in operation from the viewing area. Another bonus I bought 500g of roving to spin as a reminder of my visit. Plenty of parking . My husband enjoyed seeing the machines so both of us were happy.

Parc Howard Museum is a majestic Bath stone villa surrounded by beautiful gardens. Its displays tell the fascinating story of a remarkable town, its people, character and events. It is also home to the largest public collection of Llanelli Pottery and works of art by and of Llanelli subjects. Fila urddasol o gerrig nadd yw Amgueddfa Parc Howard gyda gerddi prydferth o'i chwmpas. Mae'r arddangosfeydd a geir yno yn adrodd stori tref ryfeddol, ei phobl, ei chymeriadau a'r hyn a ddigwyddodd yno. Mae'r amgueddfa hefyd yn gartref i'r casgliad cyhoeddus mwyaf o grochenwaith Llanelli a gweithiau celf gan arlunwyr lleol.
This museum was filled with interesting artefacts that explained the industry and crafts of the area. The children loved the fact that the staff put themselves out to be friendly and explain things to them; they were exceptional and made our visit fun and informative. The grounds are really lovely and there is a very nice, well maintained childrens playpark. We were amazed to find such a lovely place to visit that was totally free which was a huge bonus when so many attractions are so expensive. We would all highly recommend this place for both children and adults alike.

A lovely location to visit, appreciate the scenery, especially as the tide comes in. Nice ice cream and a great walk along the front, small little beech if you fancy a little paddle.
