Hardys Animal Farm

Hardys Animal Farm is a great day out in over 7 acres of Lincolnshire countryside yet just 10 minutes walk from the beach, with loads of things to do and animals for you to meet feed and make friends with. It's a great day out, whatever the weather! You can see pigs being born in our specially glazed breeding unit, feed the goats and many other animals, allowing the children to learn about modern farming in a safe and fun environment. We also have baby Lambs, Goats, Cows and Chicks being born throughout the year. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around in our 3 Adventure Playgrounds catering to all ages, while you relax with a hot drink or a bite to eat. Go on a relaxing Cart Ride around the Farm with Fergie the Tractor and then decamp to Haystacks Indoor Playbarn, there are loads of things to do come rain or shine. The Number 3 Bus stops at the end of the farm road, running every 8-10 minutes from Skegness, Ingoldmells, Butlins & Fantasy Island

I took my young girls to an evening event and they loved every minute. They started dead on time, the staff were helpful and the food and drinks were as you would expect. This is good down to earth fun, don’t put good clothes on, don’t get in a grump because someone has stood in front of you and expect concrete steps or tyres for seats. My advise is to take seats or a blanket, Face covering for all the fumes and grit if you are going to sit close to the track and expect to get dirty and come home smelling like a garage. All in all it is definitely worth going and we will definitely be going back

Burgh le Marsh Heritage Centre

A 19th century windmill which was refurbished in 2014. A new H frame, repaired cap and new sails were included in the full restoration. This is a unique mill as it 'left handed'- the sails turn clockwise - and it has 5 sails. Unfortunately, due to the high winds, all of the repairs have come to nothing as the cap was blown off and is now awaiting repair. The site is closed to visitors .

A wonderful experience. The mill tour is great and the volunteers are so knowledgeable and explain fully, the workings of the mill. There is a museum that provides an educational experience for the young and a heritage experience for both locals and visitors. Tea, coffee or cold drinks are served in the cafe by really nice friendly staff and the homemade cakes are to die for. In December every year Santa comes to the mill and gives presents to the children. So if you are anywhere near Burgh Le Marsh then give the mill site a visit.
