The 9 Best Shopping in Church-Yonge Corridor, Canada

March 4, 2022 Alida England

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Ryerson Image Centre

Reviewed By barbarae623 - Toronto, Canada

On a recent return trip I was as delighted as always by the quality of the show. Ryerson is the home of the Black Star Collection, with it's 292,000 images as well as other important archives so they have a wealth of material from which they can mount fascinating and historic shows. The current show in the main gallery features Gordon Parks, whose photo essay about poverty in Brazil was published in Life Magazine in 1961. The Centre is well worth a visit anytime. The Path

This underground of maze of shops, restaurants, businesses etc is like a warm, magical city under the cold and frozen city above ground. My husband and I visited various sections of the path and it was quite enjoyable. You can spend hours exploring the path, and it’s a warm alternative to walking above ground in the cold!
