Fantastic experience for kids of all ages, there are lots of science-based interactive activities that are both fun and educational. I've been with groups of kids on school trips, and the kids have always loved it and rated it as one of their favourite excursions.

Wow! It was a step back in time and sparked so many memories. The ladies behind the counter were a wealth of knowledge of the era and the display was magnificent. There was a few items for sale like lollies and old trinkets and magnets. We spent a good half hour just meandering through the shop.

What a great experience at the Daintree Discovery Centre! Well worth a visit and time spent! You learn all about the Daintree Rainforest and region, about the natural environment, plants, fruits and flowers, wildlife, reptiles, insects and birds and cassawary to watch out for during your self guided walk as well as during your stay in the FNQ area. Great opportunity to walk through and discover everything about a rainforest on the board walks as you ascend to the very top of the rainforest with the tower in the centre. And then to discover the dinosaurs!! Self guided audio is also well spoken and informative.
