I am a potter, jewellery maker and upcycler, I love taking unloved objects and reusing them to make beautiful things for people to love! My little shop carries work from local artists who create gorgeous textiles, weaving, watercolours, oil paintings, candles, felt, silver, glass and ceramics.

Today, I attended my very first online Indian cookery class with Debs and Angela. It was great on many counts. Firstly, they know how to really make you feel at ease, as they are so friendly. Secondly, they really know their stuff and the meal we made was delicious and I learnt new skills and thirdly, there was no pressure and each participant went at their own pace. I was doing double quantities which obviously took longer but the girls were even prepared to go over the allotted time, which spoke volumes to me. I will definitely do another course in the not too distant future. Thank you so much! Linda

My name is James Stewardson I have been blowing glass since 2010, driven by a fascination of gravitys effect on molten glass! I then began working on colorful designs and started a market stall in Hawkshead selling Jewellery and ornaments, whilst also trading at various music festivals around the uk. In 2016 I started a shop called "Handmade in Hawkshead" selling handmade items from around the local area. More recently, I taught classes and gave demonstrations at "The Flame Off" 2019

We are offering art and crafting workshops for your child in the summer holidays. At the workshops I will teach the group a range of new skills and introduce them to a variety of interesting mediums. My objective is to inspire children to experiment with new ideas and encourage them to explore their own creativity. The sessions will accommodate up to 12 children. Keeping the groups small will ensure each child gets the attention and assistance they will need to create a piece of art to be proud of and happily display at home. Some of our upcoming workshops include Mosaic Picture Tiles, Popart Canvas, Clay Tiles and Tote Bag printing - view them all on our website. "My child really enjoyed the session and was very excited to show me her work. She has displayed her art work proudly in her room! Thank you for doing the session.
