Wandering around Sutter Street we ended up at the Folsom Hotel for lunch. We had not planned on it but the place is crazy historic and really interesting. The restaurant is on the ground floor bar of the hotel which reeks of atmosphere. My sister who lives in Folsom had never eaten there and we both agreed that the hamburgers were incredible! Plus they have homemade potato chips that are soooo good.(Onion rings are great also) Not to mention that Happy "Hour" lasts all day Monday through Friday so the burgers are 20% off. I am assuming it was the cook who brought out the meal to make sure all was well. I almost hate to recommend this place for fear it will really catch on and on my next visit I will have to wait an hour to get in. As it is, the place was not crowded and the friendly bartender/waitress was a delight.
