Traditional Dhow Safari was born from a meeting between a French guide Jean-Baptiste and a dhow Dona Teresa abandoned on a beach in Vilanculos. After having repaired the wreck with the locals and explored the Archipelago of Bazaruto, he proposes to make it discover to those who seek the authenticity of a trip to the long course. All our safaris are done in Dhow which is the traditional boat of Mozambique. The Dona Teresa and the Dona Victoria have been arranged for the comfort of our guests.

Sunset Dhow Safari offer fully catered daily boat trip to discover and explore the Bazaruto Archipelago. Our excursion starts on morning around 8.30-9.00 coming back late afternoon around 16.00-16.30. We sail from Vilankulos to Bazaruto Islands by traditional Dhow or f by ully equipped motorboat. You will enjoy the pristine and amazing Islands, gold sandy beaches and dune, calm and cristal water for an incredible snorkeling session with impressive coral and variety of fish.
