With the distinctive Haystack Rock and Needles marking its shoreline, Cannon Beach is one of Oregon's quaintest and most picturesque destinations. Nine miles of beach make a perfect setting for strolling along the seaside, watching diverse wildlife in its natural habitat and building a sand castle in the annual sand castle building contest. With strict regulations in place limiting the infiltration of large chain stores or restaurants, Cannon Beach retains its small town charm.

Bronze Coast Gallery was opened in Cannon Beach in 1993, on a foundation of knowledge and experience in bronze casting. This laid the groundwork for a gallery based upon the belief that education facilitates appreciation, and the gallery continues this mission today. As the face of bronze sculpture has changed over the years, so have the gallery offerings. A wide variety of sculpture is available, from classic limited edition bronze to unique and innovative contemporary artwork, as well as exquisite paintings. Representing over 40 artists from the northwest and beyond, we consider it a privilege to be involved with these extraordinary people and make it a priority to intricately understand their work in order to share the experience with others. The Bronze Coast Gallery is located in the heart of scenic Cannon Beach, 90 minutes west of Portland on the northwest Oregon coast.
Long time visitor who has visited them all and bought works from several, but my go to place is the Bronze Coast Gallery. The new owner, Joseph Clayton has a passion for art and the business and his enthusiasm is present when you walk in. He has replaced Kim the former owner admirably. Melissa on staff is excellent to work with and very knowledgeable. For special event weekends this is always a fun place to spend time.

The Museum was organized for the purpose of preserving the history of Cannon Beach by seeking, collecting, and protecting historical memorabilia of all kinds, by recording oral histories, and by making these materials available to the public whenever possible. We invite you to explore our many programs and resources for historical study, read our newsletters, get the stamp of the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, learn how you can volunteer or support the Museum, view historic Cannon Beach photos, or shop history in the online gift shop. Stop by for a visit to the Museum, located on the corner of Spruce and Sunset in Cannon Beach, and let a little history into your life. Open six days a week, Wednesday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
I am a native Portlander (Oregon) and grew up going to the Oregon Coast. Yet, I somehow missed the history of the "Daddy Train" which I learned about at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum. I also attended a lovely jazz concert there for an audience of 30. Cannon Beach is known as the artist town of the Oregon Coast, so it would be easy to focus on the galleries and quaint restaurants along front street. However, going a couple blocks inland to the Museum is a must. There is a long history to Cannon Beach, long before it became a very wealthy coastal town known for its art galleries. The power brokers of Portland vacationed side-by-side with the homesteaders of Oregon -- a story worth knowing told by the staff of this charming museum.

Beautiful store and the artists are super friendly. Loved getting to talk with them about the process of making the art and explore the shop. Every piece is unique and gorgeous! Loved getting to stop in here on our trip.

I completely enjoyed my visit and could have purchased several items. It’s easy to find and shares space with The Bald Eagle Cafe. The metal dips and copper vessels for $3700 were outstanding. However my budget for the beautiful cards do I purchased them. It does have something for everyone.

What a fantastic gallery! My husband and I visited here and could not believe how many unique and cool things they had. We ended up buying a crow sculpture and a rooster/chicken sculpture by artist Steve Eichenberger. They have many things at all price levels. The two ladies on staff were very friendly and helpful too. Don't miss visiting this gallery - it was one of the best shops in town.
