Don’t go there. Just don’t. The price advertised on TripAdvisor is €120 whereas some of the people we flew with paid $80 in VangVieng! Takeoff from a wasteland full of trash in the middle of nowhere, 20 minutes flight over VV (not the prettiest sight by far unless you’re into power lines and hotel roofs) with barely any explanations and then bye. We learnt afterwards about the French company flying in the countryside next to the blue lagoons and we should have gone with them.

Numerous rivers cutting deep into the hard volcanic bedrock have created a wide variety of waterfalls, some of them easily accessible by road.
