The decision a few years ago to upgrade this out-of-town Showcase cinema from one of under-utilised high capacity and average comfort to one of far lower capacity but maximum comfort was a good one as far as I am concerned. We choose to come here repeatedly despite knowing that we will pay significantly more than at nearby competing town centre cinemas, justifying our decision on the basis that at least we are saving on the cost of parking (although be warned that much of the car park floods). Seats are wide and recline almost completely, without impacting on those sitting behind you. There is also space for people to pass in front without disturbing other viewers. The Costa Coffee is a welcome addition - sometimes we combine a cinema trip with lunch, and Costa has also proven useful as a comfortable caffeine-fuelled waiting area if the family has split up to attend different films.

The Corn Exchange is a 400 seat arts centre in Newbury, Berkshire. It presents a varied programme including dance, film, music, drama, children's events, comedy and an annual pantomime, and is also home to a 40 seat independant cinema. The front of house area was refurbished over summer 2015 and the Corn Exchange Kitchen and Bar is now open, offering a brunch, light bites, and main meals menu, as well as a cafe and bar service and a kids menu. The Corn Exchange Trust also manages 101, the Outdoor Arts Creation Space for the development of large-scale outdoor performances and residencies, both on Greenham Business Park, Newbury.
Watched a concert here, the seating was laid out very well as excellent views of the stage from all areas. The staff were friendly & the whole place was welcoming & very clean. Plenty of parking areas nearby. Will definitely visit again soon.

Living in Windsor and not having a local cinema just felt wrong. Can you believe we haven't had a proper cinema since the last one shut up shop in 1983. Everyone we know wanted one so here we are! A cinema is something that we felt this community genuinely needed and, with 20 years of film and cinema industry experience, we've opened The Screen.

Awesome, seats are comfortable, picture and sound quality amazing, staff friendly. Drinks and popcorn super expensive but to be expected at the cinema. Will be back soon!

Love going to this cinema, i have recently brought the unlimited pass which entitles you to go as many times as you like. It also after the year gives you free 3d films and discount off of food and drink. The seats are really comfy and you can lean back. The cinema is clean and staff are very friendly.
