Reviewed By Resort61063070375When in Japan, it is essential that you stay at a RYOKAN, to savor a true local experience. This hotel is located on the UJI river which offers an exquisite view. Uji, located in the southern tip of Kyoto, will require a train journey from Kyoto, but worth the effort, as it's stunning serenity is in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle in Tokyo or Kyoto. The hotel is spotless, and the staff, although a bit limited in English, is welcoming, helpful, and lovely. Sleeping on the tatami mats was comfortable and soothing. Be sure to take a bath in the included Onsen, pure heaven. A complimentary self service happy hour including wines and juices is available at the lounge. Be sure to grab a glass and watch the river flow in front of you. Amenities are abundant including high quality green tea, special wash cloths, mini towels, and more. Kyoto Uji Hanayashiki Ukifune-en is about a 15 minute walk from the UJI Train Station, or you may take a Taxi....Just Go and ENJOY!

Reviewed By nishizumeマスターのバックパッカー振りが半端無い！ 新型コロナの影響からかカフェは休業中だったが、グラス片手に旅先での出来事を色々と聞きたかった ホテル・割烹旅館などなど、宿は目的に合わせて選べば良いが「宇治を拠点に連泊する いっそマンスリーに」と言うのであればココ！ そうそう、トゥクトゥク有ります！

Good quality Business Hotel
Reviewed By James HA reasonably priced business hotel right near Uji JR. The rooms were clean, staff friendly and the breakfast was good value. The in-room WiFi was also of a good quality and allowed me to keep in touch with home/work. The local area is good for sightseeing and close to Byodoin.

Reviewed By kage000JR宇治駅から近く、静かな環境のホテル。 平等院や老舗お茶店など歩いて行ける立地も良い、スタッフさんはみなさんプロフェッショナルで好感が持てます、ホテル自体も綺麗に維持管理されています。 唯一不満点は、眺望が無いのと部屋が狭い事、ビジネスホテルと思えばこれが普通の広さかなと思う。 JR宇治駅近くのホテルで、建物・室内の綺麗さで言えば、ここのホテルが一番かも・・・

For those interested in checking out popular landmarks while visiting Uji, Seizanso is located a short distance from Ajirogi no Michi (0.2 mi) and Uji Shrine (0.3 mi). Reviewed By 834ruthhThis property is an lovely location on the banks of the river - our room had great views The room was a Japanese style, spacious and with all facilities expected eg fridge, team making facilities etc\ Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful providing loads of local information. Uji itself is a lovely town and well worth a visit

あがた祭りの為に泊まりました
Reviewed By ujiDemachiあがた祭りを深夜の神輿まで満喫したくて予約しました。あがた祭り当日は朝から目の前に出店が並び始めます。午前10時には一方通行の歩行者天国になります。宇治神社御旅所もほど近く、祭りを余すことなく楽しめたと思います。深夜の出入りも許可して頂けたのでとても助かりました。 こちらの施設はドミトリー的な色合いが濃いです。共同トイレ、共同シャワーで風呂はありません。共同利用の食器、調理場、電子レンジ、無料のドリンクバー（期間限定でビールサーバーも！） ベッドのマットレスは硬めでしたが、個人的には好きなのでむしろポイント高いです。 エアコンが好きな温度設定できるので快適でした。 利用者含めてキレイにされていて、清潔感があります。 海外の方の利用も多く、私が利用したときも共同スペースで歓談されてました。何故か柿ピーを貰いました(^^)v ドアの防音が今ひとつで、その歓談がよく聞こえましたが、個人的には気になるほどではなかったです。 英語や中国語などの観光案内も常備されているので、海外向けのアピールポイントを覗けたり、いつもと違った面白みがありました。 駐車場に空きがあれば無料でとめることもできます。 同じ名前のカフェを経営されていて、朝食付きにするとカフェで食事することになります。徒歩5分前後かかるのと、8時以降の利用になるので、雨だったりスケジュールが合わない方は注意が必要です。 付近の郵便局にレンタサイクルが設置されていたので、徒歩だけでは回りきれない方はこちらの利用もオススメです。 響け！ユーフォニアムの聖地案内をラミネートしたものや、各種パネルもごく少数ながら設置されているので、ユーフォファンにもオススメかも？
