Reviewed By roberto meravamo in 4 ( due coppie ) ed abbiamo prenotato 2 camere . Veramente ottime , pulite , spaziose e panoramiche . La signora che ci ha accolto ( di cui purtroppo non ricordo il nome ) e' stata veramente gentile ed ospitale . La collocazione e' a mezzacosta e con con una gran bella visuale e molto tranquillo . Pi una nota in piu' per il letto VERAMENTE comfortevole . Roby

Reviewed By jrjurThis was our first stay at an Agristurismo hotel in Italy. Our original hope was to learn a little bit about the local culture from the hosts of this hotel. Unfortunately this hotel was run by a host who did not stay at the hotel. Since they were not on premises, when checking in we had to have others call the host to have them come by and check us in. On checkout they could not be reached. This was somewhat disappointing to us. However, if you want a place to get away from the bigger city of Bologna and have a quite stay this is a good place to stay. A car is needed to get here and is not a far drive from Bologna and its surrounding cities. The accommodations were spacious. We had a studio apartment that was down the hill from the main house. Again this was slightly inconvenient as breakfast is served in the main house and you will need to drive to get there unless you walk the dirt road up the back side of the property. The good part of the apartment is that it had a stove and sink so you can purchase fresh pasta in town and cook it in the apartment. The views from the hotel are very nice in that it is set on a hill overlooking the vineyards. Most of the activity at this location is from the riding stables co-located on the property. Most are teens and pre-teens that are getting riding lessons in the afternoon. Our thought is that there might be other places if you want more interaction with the hosts, but if who want your independence you can chose this spot.

On top of the hills , we have a B & B in the green and quiet Monte San Pietro countryside , 20 minutes fromthe center of Bologna, where you can relax and indulge in wine, culinary and cultural tours .A few miles away you will find 2 golf courses, CAI trekking or mountain bike paths, or relax on loungers inthe garden.The stone farmhouse dated 1713 called Sassolo di Sotto, has been completely renewed, with a large gardenand surrounded by forests of black locusts, walnut and elm trees where it is not difficult to see deers andwildlife.At your disposal there is a large open plan loft with sleeping area, living area, private bathroom, satellite TVand wi-fi.It can accommodate up to 3 / 4 people.The rich breakfast with local products may be served in or on the ground floor, while in summer it will beserved in the garden.

Reviewed By Michael NI actually stayed in the self contained apartment which is joined to the main house where Piero and his family live. I spent the first week on holiday and was working down in Casalecchio for the second week. The 2 bedroom apartment is in perfect order and tastefully decorated and fitted out with all modern facilities . I could not fault it and the weather was exceptionally warm too. I love a real fire and there is an excellent log burner with an endless supply of logs every day delivered by Piero who is such a gentle man in every way. The Kitchen is perfect and the bed was very comfortable with a most stunning view over the countryside. Shops are 10 minutes away...... 100%+++?

We were happy to get off the Autostrada, drive thru some towns, then villages, and then the road just got smaller and smaller, and eventually the dirt road led us to the Casa Vallona. Old house with origins from several centuries ago, now restored, full of old family heirlooms, Nonna’s big dining table and chairs where the elders used to sit by the fire and tell stories... I was taking all this in while sipping a cocktail of elderberry syrup and pignoletto wine. There’s a tiny restaurant that only opens on the weekends, but host Chiara agreed to make us dinner, which she served to us in the charming room just off the kitchen. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast and then wandered around the vineyard. I confess I ate a few figs right off the tree - - so good!

Reviewed By Joe SWe spent a few days in the La Cantina dei Sapori, which is located nicely in the midst of their own vineyards. Matteo and his team are fabulous hosts, they really live and breathe running a "Cantina". And they spoiled us with delicious food, which is made only from ingredients and goods they purchase from the local farmers. It is so tasty and even exciting combinations (I think of the risotto with strawberries and balsamico - hmmmm yummy!) It has been a pleasure to be with them and should YOU be in the Bologna area -> don´t miss to stay one / two nights with La Cantina dei Sapori and enjoy the dinner!

Siamo scappati!
Reviewed By dany1975gioPer chiedere il prezzo di una notte alla locanda ci siamo fermati in questo posto. Avevamo bisogno della notte del venerdì. Siamo stati accolti da una signora poco curata che con uno sguardo disturbato e truce ci ha detto che avevano solo delle singole di certo non invogliandoci a chiedere qualcosa in più. Siamo letteralmente scappati. Consiglio di mettere all’ingresso qualcuno di più accomodante, sorridente e preparato. Non posso dire altro perché ovviamente non abbiamo pernottato lì.
