Reviewed By bonsaiman2013I had been to Jintan for the Bonsai Conventions 7th WBFF Convention & 14th ASPAC 2013 held at the Baosheng Gardens in September 2013 during which I had stayed in Jiulong Hotel. The hotel may not be grand by some standards, but the service they provided us despite the language barrier was really something worth remembering. Although food is a problem for all vegetarians visiting China, which can't be helped, the Hotel gave such a sumptuous feast of such a variety of food stuff with such enthusiasm, we were practically overwhelmed. The hospitality was also so good, I doubt if such was the experience of our fellow guests staying in other bigger and also costlier hotels. I will unhesitatingly recommend everyone to stay in the Jiulong Hotel.

Reviewed By travelscarThe hotel is located on the service road at a busy intersection. At times, it can be a bit hard to attract a taxi. The city center with numerous restaurants and shopping opportinuties is about 10 mins by foot to the southeast of the hotel. The place is entered through a white marble lobby. The clean rooms are equipped with modern furnishings and four star amenities. Unfortunately, there is no designated piece of furniture to lay down a suitcase, so the floor is used instead. The free internet access is a bit slow. The glass between the bedroom and the bathroom is not equipped with a privacy blind. The complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel is served in a nice setting. Unfortunately, the items of the Chinese breakfast were mainly found cold, as some items of the western breakfast (butter, cheese) were beyond the date where they could be enjoyed. The coffee was good though. If I have to stay in Jintan again, I would stay in this hotel.
