Auberge Jardins d'imilchil level in the heart of Upper East Atlas, it offers fascinating landscapes by the colors of the mountains. The hostel offers 19 beautiful rooms with all comforts. A restaurant and lounge and terrace are at your disposal for a pleasant stay. This is the ideal place for a relaxing getaway with a few walks.
The auberge is located in the north end of the village about 300M from the centre. Hamo & Mina and their family welcomed us as two of their extended family. Hamo is familiar with all things within the region including, hiking suggestions, bus routes and fares, market days and farming. Hamo will take the time to help you plan your hiking and travel. Mina has 6 wonderful children who enjoy interacting with visitors. Mina is an excellent cook who also found time to do our laundry. The room and meal prices are very reasonable. The auberge is relatively new with a large iron stove in the middle of the dining/living room. A propane heater can be used to warm your bedroom before going to bed. Our first hike was to Lake Tislite, around the lake and back via the main road +/- 3hrs. Hamo described the hike to the 2nd lake (Isli) using the sheppards' paths there and back +/- 5 hrs. Don't miss the market on Saturdays-wide range of items including bargaining for the best sheep, goats and cows. The bus ride from Agoudal to Imilchil is breathtaking and climbs through one of the highest passes (tizi) in Maroc. Don't miss a visit to Imilchil.

An excellent low price stay in the middle of town. The owner was very helpful and greeted us warmly. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have a good size. The breakfast served on the terrace was plenty. We recommend it highly.

Here Auberge des lacs imilchil building more Rome more decoration more comfortable and big welcoming you to be next our gest . We are here for your happy .
Stopped here on the Monkey Run, finding no signal in Imichil and this being right off the main square. A very fortunate staying too, I was offered tea before the price was even told to me. Khalid (who I believe is the owner) speaks no English, French or Arabic, only Berber, but he had an interpreter who I dealt through when walking through the front door. He said 200Dh at first, but was happy to accept 150Dh per person. For this, it was probably the best deal I got on the trip, and hospitality to beat a great deal of other locations. The garage was opened to allow five of us to park our bikes inside, securely locked. The water in the taps was very hot, but not exactly at the best pressure so it chokes and splurts now and again. But after a cold trip in the Atlas, it was perfect. The bedrooms are decently sized with plenty of thick blankets to ward off the cold. It can get noisy at times during the night with dogs barking and the Muezzin close by in the morning, but I feel like it's not a complete deal breaker. We had two vegetarians in our group, and while at first Khalid asked us whether we wanted 'Bok bok' (Chicken) or 'Maaaa' (Lamb), and we desperately tried to work out what noise a vegetable makes, he made us some of the best Tagine on the trip, enormous and thick with root vegetables that I could barely finish it was so filling. It was a late dinner so that Khalid could cook with the family, but we were alright with that. In the morning we had omlette and pancakes, and while at first I mistook the olive oil for lemon juice, when he understood what I was after he squeezed a lemon for me and I was able to have sugar on my pancakes, what a treat so far from the UK! The Wifi was actually really good, it suffered a bit with five people trying to upload pictures, but I never felt short changed by the lack of data in Imichil. Honestly I can't recommend this enough to people passing by, or fellow Monkey Runners. It was comfortable, clean, convenient, and there were places to play cards and books to read, so you won't lack for entertainment. I would happily have stayed multiple nights if I was going to be staying around Imichil.

A nice place to stay in Imilchil.the food is tasty, the rooms are simple and clean. The hospitality is exceptional, the owner really makes you feel at home and helps the local community in different way... He is very knowledgeable about the area and Morocco in general and also works as a tour guide. The helpers/cooks are kind and sweet.
