Reviewed By TXRVer09We really enjoyed our stay. Room was perfect - clean and quiet. Loved the walk in shower. Wifi worked flawlessly. Best surprise was the Breakfast. Bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, Eggs were in two different forms. Worth the stay here just for the breakfast. Hope to return there real soon.

Reviewed By leepaul392022Staff was very nice and the room was better then expected. The bed was very soft and I was able to get complete nights sleep without having to get up during the night. The area was very quiet and clean.

Bed Bugs!
Reviewed By denicantuI checked into my room on May 6 around 5 PM because my room was not ready at 3 PM. I went to bed around midnight and woke up (around 1:30 AM) to itching all over my arms. I called the front desk and the young girl offered another room because the manager was not working. I said no, changed my clothes, and left to the Holiday Inn. I filed a complaint on May 7 and received an automated email response stating, someone will get back to me within 24–48 hours. I did not hear from the manager (Kirsten) until May 10. She said that there was no charge for my stay but I would not be compensated for the items I left behind, my doctor bill, and the Holiday Inn bill. Even after I explained to her of being bitten numerous times by bed bugs all over my body and face. It wa since and clean with quite a nice size kitchenette!! Today I have returned for another stay. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay! Has on site washer/dryers and the breakfast is simple, but also quite good as well!!

We here at Texas Star Lodges have; Tradition (1 king or 2 double bed) cabins, Cabin Suites (1 bedroom) , and Executive Suites (2 bedrooms). You can come stay with us for a day or a few.. A week or monthly! We have great comparative rates, all while having the opportunity to enjoy the Historic Downtown Floresville, you will be within walking distance to many eateries, convenience stores, and old movie theater, Mrs. Annie's Peanut Patch, and a wonderful family owned Coffee shop!!

Reviewed By Ernie_ValdezI visited Floresville for a family reunion this past Saturday. I called super last minute (Friday afternoon) and talked to the owner. He was very nice and accommodating. I was a bit shocked by the price. It was extremely reasonable. I wasn't expecting much and knew I just needed a place to crash. But when I got there, it was awesome. It is 1/2 a block from town square. You can walk to the movie theater and all of the local eateries. The property is new looking and well kept. There is a nice, shared outdoor grilling area and covered tables. Each little cabin had its own outdoor table as well. There is a shared clothes washing/drying area as well. The rooms have more than you would think for what you paid. Micro, fridge, coffee/tea, and very nice furniture. The room was large and homey. If you are passing through and need a place to stay, this is it. Be sure to hit Mata's cafe on the way out.
