Reviewed By lambsX5We spent a week in august in the Key west lodge (3 bedrooms mobile home) Location is great facing the bay of Favone and is a great base to explore the east coast beaches but also inland (if you don't mind the twisty roads, a trip to Bavella and all the natural pools on the way is a must do) The bungalow was super quiet (not a sound from the road or surroundings); it could be better furnished (lack of sharp knives, no proper mug,..) but was spacious enough for our family of 5 The grounds are quite "wild" and you should not forget your mosquitoes spray or leave any food on the terrace unless you are ready to face an army of ants; the pool is really nice and people very civilized as we always manage to find sun loungers despite the small number available; very good restaurant in the camp and local shop available a few minutes walk away Finally the staff at reception is extremely friendly and helpful all in all a very good stay

Reviewed By cannonball_666This place is close to perfect. Everything is in good shape with A/C and has a nice, new and stylish look (Italien shower etc.). We had an appartement as a 4 headed family for 11 days in September. The area is lying next and very close to the nice and mostly clean sandy beach. Although a main road lies between beach and appartement area, at the beach and in the appartements you can hardly hear the traffic. Every appartement has its own veranda and a small piece of "garden" or at least balconies to enjoy your meals in the open. The units are seperate enough, so your neighbours are hardly to be seen. The area has a nice pool with a small poolbar, which is nice to have. Good to have free parking as well, since a car is strongly recommended and the next bigger supermarket a 10 min drive away. For bread etc. a small one is right across the street. Behind the houses you can start a nice walk, run or ride in a more hilly area heading to Conca. Although the house beach is pretty nice, some spots and maybe some nicer beaches around can be reached with the car in a couple of minutes. Don't expect too much from the village Favone itself, but if you want to have a nice beach or pool holiday, this place is great. As well it is central enough for excursions. The staff is extraordinary nice and helpful (Quentin). English is spoken and understood as well, in case your french is not that big deal. Just to have one negative aspect, the water pressure of the shower could be better. Go there.

The faounzina residence is ideally situated the feet in the water with direct access to the beach of Favone by some steps, very beautiful and naturally garden where you can take your meals in front of the sea, barbecues and garden furniture at your disposition. We rent apartments, for 2,4,6,8 or 10 person,all equipped with kitchen : dishes, microwave, fridge freezer, gas cooker and oven, Toast bread, coffeepot, free parking. The residence is open of 30/03 till the middle of November.

Reviewed By Daydream05532150164Un très chouette accueil pour un lieu agréable à vivre à quelques minutes en voiture de la jolie plage de Favone. Prévoir une grosse demi-heure pour rejoindre Porto Vecchio. Les fleurs sentent bon, la piscine est top et le soir on observe les étoiles ??

Vacanza a Favone - Corsica

Il residence è stato probabilmente edificato a cavallo con gli anni '80, lo si deduce dalla finitura degli appartamenti. Gli alloggi al piano terra sono dotati di belle verande coperte affacciate su di un discreto, per come è curato, verde privato e comune ed inoltre godono di una zona barbecue. Le parti comuni attrezzate con un campo da tennis e da una piscina, quest'ultima, senza servizio di sorveglianza, ed inoltre comunque con un certo numero di segni che connotano l'età del residence e quindi un pò di trascuratezza nel ripristino di alcuni pavimenti ormai scollati a bordo piscina e per alcune tesserine a mosaico mancanti nell'interno vasca. Il mare si trova a 100/150 mt, a piedi, dal residence e fortunatamente posso garantire che è assolutamente fantastico. Non serve recarsi alle ben più popolari spiagge della località di Porto Vecchio perché è fantastico quello di Favone. Trascorrerei volentieri un altra vacanza nella stesso posto e nella stessa località.

Welcome to 'Les Pavillons du Golfe' !! Les Pavillons du Golfe, hotel - residence, is located in a really pretty spot; out of the tourist spotlight, on "the Cotes des Nacres" exactly on Favone Bay, Southern Corsica, at 24km North from Porto-Vecchio and 12km South from Solenzara. At 150m from a white sandy beach, into a huge woody and shady park composed with pine trees, oaks and eucalyptus, the residence with its 50 bungalows and 25 mobiles will cater for all your needs and will offer you authenticity and quietness. The residence is open all year long. On one hand, bungalows, T1 or T2, can accommodate up to 5 people and are equipped with air conditional, full bathroom, kitchen and shady terrace. On the other hand, mobil-homes, more comfortable, can accommodate from 4 to 8 persons. There are equipped with air conditional, full bathroom, kitchen and all amenities you will need to spend your holidays in serenity. Hotel is open from April to October for family, group (on request), bussiness stay, and for congress (up to 150 persons) The central hotel complex, with 2 separate building of 2 floors, is composed by 70 rooms (double or quadruple rooms) all equipped with full bathroom, balcony and television.

Reviewed By Aurelie_dubaiThe cottage we had rented was smelling very bad, and the outside terrace, partitions etc were not finished. We had the feeling being in the middle of a roadwork, with no proper terrace nor table, with the wooden parts of the terrace to be built right ahead and living with the neighbors 1meter away without "garden"partitions. While complaining and requesting for refund, the reception manager spoke to us in a very disrespectful way, and never accepted reimbursement (even if the place didnt correspond to what they promised while booking). On top of that, a lot of customers were complaining at the same time, about the cleanliness of the hotel, so I guess this part of the residence is not better.... Very disappointed by the place and the "professionalism" of that lady, who was very rude with us. Unaceptable.
