Reviewed By Mark BWhat can I say about our dinner here. We saw the hotel one day we were staying in a villa near Pomarance. The first night we ate here ot was full of locals a good sign we thought...... we were right. The staff helpful polite and the food was amazing had Smoked Tuna Salad and Fresh Fruit a meal in itself then Pasta Strips with Wild Boar Sauce and Lamb Cutlets. The second visit a Sharing Platter as a starter then both had Pork Medallions with Nuts Dried Fruit with a Honey Sauce this visit was just as amazing as the first. Such good value as well. A hidden gem in Tuscany it was fabulous.

Off the Beaten Track, Glad We Stayed
Reviewed By SpudMechanicWe thought we'd try agritourism and were not disappointed. Best to use the coordinates in the booking information to get there. It is located in the countryside about a 15 minute drive from the town, accessible via a narrow road with lots of switchbacks, halfway up a mountain. Once on the small road, you'll have no problem finding it. Just keep driving until you see the signs. The proprietors don't speak any English, so speaking some Italian is helpful, although this was not a problem for us. Lovely view of the old hilltown in the distance, but it was dominated by two large cooling towers for a geothermal power station (which didn't diminish the experience). Tranquill. Ample parking. No wifi. The proprietress met us with a dozen fresh eggs in hand, as a rooster crowed in the background. Our room was in a renovated farm building: charming, filled with country touches, old furniture, kitchen fully equipped (including cutting board, apron, tablecloth, dish towel - what else would you want?), large bathroom with good water pressure, soap, plastic cups, large towels and hairdryer. Comfortable bed with full bedding, reminded us of the one in "Under the Tuscan Sun." Beams in the ceiling - real ones, no fakes here. The room was a bit damp, but that didn't dampen the experience. A meal would have been provided (at an extra cost) had we requested it in advance. Since we didn't, the lady made reservations for us at her friend's hotel in town, which didn't disappoint (perfect English spoken, good food, lovely presentation, locals eating there). The proprietress insisted that we follow her husband to the place to make sure we didn't get lost. We felt loved. She does breakfast if you request (at an extra cost). Great for families. Swings for kids, bikes, hiking trails, inviting pool. Her casual, country style restaurant was equipped with a full size snooker table! The lady recommended a museum in the town, which we didn't have time to see, but will put on the list for our next visit. As we left, she gave us a handful of candies for the road. How sweet is that!

Per raggiungerlo si deve percorrere un tratto sterrato che ti offre meravigliosi scorci sul panorama circostante punteggiato in questa stagione da macchie di ginestre. La struttura è bellissima, un casale in pietra sapientemente ristrutturato e curato in tutti i particolari. La nostra camera era molto ampia e affacciata sul prato dove pascolano mucche e pecore.. un vero spettacolo. L'unicità di questa struttura deriva dalla gestione di un centro di recupero di animali di molte specie. Alcuni trovano qui casa provvisoriamente in attesa del ritorno alla libertà altri dimora fissa perché non più abili ad una vita autonoma. La naturale empatia di Emanuela, titolare con il marito Giuseppe della struttura, ti mette subito a tuo agio. La cucina, curata da Giuseppe, molto disponibile ed accogliente, è eccellente. Il servizio curato e le ragazze, simpatiche e sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra. La struttura permette di fare passeggiate e rilassarsi anche a bordo di una bellissima piscina, nel periodo di apertura. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a coppie e famiglie poiché ognuno può trovarvi la sua giusta dimensione. Grazie per questa meravigliosa esperienza!

Good hotel
Reviewed By anna kNice family hotel in the beautiful place. Very friendly staff and they speak english. There is small restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was very small. Rooms are big and clean. We use jacuzzi and it was nice. The view was breathtaking. The hotel locate on the in the middle of fields.

Reviewed By Barbara DPessima struttura,iginicamente molto scarso, odore sgradevole... Pernottato una sola notte per poi lasciarla subito la mattina seguente... Costretti a trovare un'altra situazione che fortunatamente risolto su al Paese... Sprovvisto di cucina, frigo e internet... A 100€ una stanza con bagno e una piccolissima piscina da condivere con altri ospiti (non usata anche per la sua scarsa pulizia). Sconsiglio vivamente questa struttura che a mio avviso è contrastante con ciò che è illustrato nel suo sito... Esperienza da dimenticare
