Set in 210 acres of land on the outskirts of the old town of Canino, 20 minutes' drive from Lake Bolsena, the property offers beautiful views of the Lazio countryside. The apartments have a rustic style and is located in 4 houses. The rooms overlook the surrounding vineyards and olive groves, and the suites have a fireplace and views of the outdoor pool. Cerrosughero's restaurant enjoys views of the Tyrrhenian Sea in the distance. It serves organic cuisine, homemade recipes and genuine local products, along with olive oil and certified product directly from the company. The sun terrace is surrounded by lemon trees, and the property includes a small lake. The club house includes a fireplace, a pool, free internet access, a TV and a bar. Cerrosughero offers free parking. At about 40 minutes drive there are the nearest beach and spa centers and cities such as Pitigliano.
We were reliably informed that new owners had taken over this place (within the last 6 months). I’ve visited here in the past 10 or so years, on a dozen occasions and the food today was the best we’ve had. Our staters were slices of sweet prosciutto, rocket and fresh mozzarella. My main was sliced beef that had a delicate smokey taste to it served with onion in red wine. A side of Chicory, a plate of fine oven roasted potatoes with fresh salad & strawberries. We also had Ravioli containing spinach and ricotta served with vine toms. All together, high quality prepared dishes with larger side dishes that definitely didn’t stinge. This place is set in the the most amazing grounds and view you could with for. Just loved watching the sun set was a privilege. Keep it up and keep the faith.- David Mason & Anna

It's a medium-size standalone building in a residential slightly out-of-town area so the context is not the best. However rooms are nice, interesting and clean. You need to count your towels as in a note in the bathroom they say they will charge you if their accounting of them does not check out at the end. Most of our stay has been nice. We agree with other reviews that breakfast is nothing exceptional (not a good cappuccino and not very good quality croissants, but this often happens in hotels). However one person working there ruined the whole experience for us as they made racist comments using very racist words (the n word to be precise). They were not aimed at us, but this makes them even worse. This person just assumed we would "obviously" agree with those comments. So if the owner wants constructive feedback from us it would be: please don't be a racist and don't employ racist people.

The agriturismo Terre di Musignano is an amazing place and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. The first time we went there we immediately fell in love with the panoramic view over the countryside, simply breathtaking, and the structure, an old rural big house finely restored and preserving its authentic character. It was late October but we enjoyed a fantastic evening bath in the hot thermal water literally immersed in the surrounding nature. Pina is a great chef and everything is made by herself: from fresh pasta to delicious cakes. We really felt like at home. If you're visiting the area, I'd strongly recommend this agriturismo. We'll surely come back.
