Shaw's Hotel is a charming historic inn and cottages property with a large property and great location. It's adjacent to Brackley Beach --- one of PEI's best beaches.
We stayed here while hiking The Island Trail. They have a collection of cottages. They are very nice, full kitchen and a wood burning fireplace. The property is right on the water with great views. This resort has been in operation under the same family since 1860. We came early in the season before they opened their dinning room. They suggested we could use their bikes and ride to Dalvey resort for dinner. We took them up on their offer. During the ride the winds picked up significantly make the ride very difficult and pelting us with sand. While having dinner the hostess told us that Mr. Shaw called to make sure we arrived safely and offer us a ride back. We jumped at the offer. Mr. Shaw was paying attention to his guests and their needs. I was very impressed. I highly recommend The Shaw resort. I hope to return soon.

Enjoy spectacular views and beautiful sunsets from this unique accommodation. The Baywatch Lighthouse, just minutes from Charlottetown, the capital city of Prince Edward Island, is centrally located to great golfing, fabulous restaurants, amusement parks, craft shops and art galleries, horseback riding and drive-in theatre as well as an endless coastline of white sandy beaches and red cliffs.
We were in the motel, it was private, quiet, clean, with a view of the the lighthouse and the woods, our room looked newly renovated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom although small was clean. It had a mini kitchenette with a small fridge & microwave. There was a bbq on the deck. Good wi fi and easy parking. Convenient location for exploring the area and about a 5 minute drive to Brackley Beach. On our first evening we drove about 20 minutes to the town of Rustico and enjoyed some excellent fish & chips in a restaurant called By the Bay.

We’re centrally located just one kilometer from beautiful Prince Edward Island National Park and just twenty minutes to the shops, theater and restaurants of Charlottetown.
Booking here again for the end of summer 2022. The cottages are adorable and clean, staff is very friendly and it’s only a 15 minute walk to the beach. I was initially worried that they didn’t have air conditioning, but the breeze that comes off the ocean cools them right down in the evenings and they’re very comfortable. We’ll be back for sure!

We offer a selection of cottage types to choose from: one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and our newly-renovated deluxe two-bedroom cottages. All of our cottages feature fully-equipped kitchens, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, picnic tables, individual fire-pits, and a BBQ
We stayed in cabin 12 on the weekend of August 20, 21.2021 The rooms had everything we needed to cook, lots of space for sleeping and there are tons of activities on the grounds for the kids. The place was clean, close to the Esso Country store (which had everything we needed) and the staff were very kind. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling with small kids (mine are three and five). there was a drive-inn theatre about 2 minutes away and made for a bonus experience after a wonderful day at the the pristine brackley beach (5 minutes away). I can't wait to go back. Lastly, we paid 140 per night verses the 300 + per night in cavendish i- which was a steal, if you ask me. Cavendish was 20 minutes away, a perfect time to sip a coffee on the drive over before the arse falls out of er when the kids hit the theme parks there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Centennial Cottages. They are conveniently located within a short distance to Brackley Beach. The cottages are in a semi-circle overlooking a large field which hosts a playground for children. Each cottage has a deck with a propane bbq. Each cottage has a firepit and four chairs. The cottages are old and from the outside look in need of repair. Inside, was very clean with everything you need. The office has dvds that you may borrow. There is also a large above ground pool and hot tub on the property which was very refreshing. Paul was very pleasant and helpful. If you are looking for a good old fashioned cottage stay, this would fit your needs. We will be back to this location.

Wish I could tell you we had a wonderful time at Brackley Country Inn for my husband's 50th high school reunion but I just got a call from the owner telling me "The client who has the room before you has decided to extend his stay so....you have been bumped and will have to find other accommodations...so sorry". What kind of hotel/Inn does this to their clientele !!!
