Surfcamp Guanico is located directly at the beach with a breath-taking view on the Pacific Ocean, the green hills of the natural turtle park and the great surf break of Guanico Beach. Surfcamp Guanico provides a wide range of accommodation for families, individuals and backpackers. We have just opened the surfcamp, offering accomodation at different price levels. The bar and lounge create a wonderful mix of chill out atmosphere surrounded by the exotic paradise of Guanico Beach.
I spent there more than a week in January 2022, once you get into the mood you don’t want to go home. It‘s a quite place where you can relax and take a break. Great weather, huge beaches with nobody around, water with a perfect temperature and great waves to surf. Depending on the period you can find easy waves for beginners or more difficult ones. The surf camp offers everything you may need, is very clean and is run by easy going people. I really recommend to spent some time there! Difficult to see better sunsets or sunrises…

With a reputation as a “heaven on earth,” Playa Venao has transformed from a wild beach town to a go-to destination. Stretches of white sand, candy-colored houses, and a surfer-bohemian vibe make Playa Venao the perfect setting for seekers of tranquility and bliss. Here, like all of our locations, we go out of our way to help you experience all the awesome activities Venao has to offer. Whether you want to zip-line through the jungle or explore the hidden islands, we’ve got you covered. Selina Venao is perfectly positioned to capitalize on one of the best surfing spots in the world. Here, happiness comes in waves. Stay in our dormitories, standard, private, or deluxe rooms. Come for the outdoor pool and water sports galore at this jaw-dropping setting. Need a break from the water? Zip-line through the jungle or explore the hidden white-sand islands of Isla Iguana nearby.
Really bad experience at Selina’s new years eve event: Two different bouncers at the event’s entrance wouldn’t let us in after their front desk office sold us 5 tickets (total of $500+) because of their own miscommunication regarding the right color of their access bracelets. Most people were wearing yellow bracelets, but they sold us green ones and it caused confusion amongst their staff members. The event itself was alright, but managers and staff involved in organizing it definitely get a 1/5 for this. Fix your customer service. Selina is a window to Panama’s tourism industry and visitors deserve better from your company for the high prices paid. I’d recommend other nearby lodges to future travelers instead.

A lot of words to describe this place. It is basic, and at the same time, you have anything and everything. You can see the sunset and sunrise. You can hear the Howler monkeys in the morning, you can see and hear a lot of birds. we saw Colibri for example, walking the endless beach (14 km). This place is very relaxing. During our stay, we had a lot of sea breath. Every night we saw the stars. The room has a mosquito net. We had all our meals here. Everything was delicious. Irina is a great cook. Pachamama/Jean Pierre ran a great project, the conservation of sea turtles. Irina and Jean Pierre are great hosts. This is the place if you want to disconnect and enjoy nature. We are definitely considering returning and volunteering during the turtle season and being part of this project.

No wonder why this is the place where everything started. Pedasi is a destination insulated from change and revered for its colonial roots, traditional festivals and extravagant carnival celebrations. Visit this undiscovered gem for unbelievable fishing and some of the best surfing beaches in the world. Selina Pedasi puts you in the perfect location for exploring the area’s soul-filling beauty and remarkable adventures. Soak in the sun by our outdoor pool, rest and re-energize in our garden, goof around in our game room, binge on artisan tacos, or swap travel tales in the bar. Whatever you’re doing at Selina Pedasi, you’ll be doing it in color, comfort, and style. Whatever you’re doing at Selina Pedasi, you’ll be doing it in color, comfort, and style. Pedasi, in the remote Azuero Peninsula of the Central American country of Panama, insulated from change and revered the world over for its colonial roots, traditional festivals and extravagant carnival celebrations, is now attracting the attention of an even wider public , lured by unbelievable fishing, some of the best surfing beaches in the world, eco-tourism, and the prospect of buying plentiful hectares of land at affordable prices.

We are a hostel with ten beds (5 bunks) located just off the main square of the small town of Pedasi. We have two restrooms and one bathroom with a hot showe), a communal lounge and a dining area with a mini self-catering kitchen.
This is a must see, quaint little town near the beach. Amazing cozy gettaway. The hotel managers are extremely courteous, very polite. I would highly recomend it to anyone wanting to see something more of Panama.

Vielen Dank nochmal!
