Breathtaking Kristiansand was first settled in the early 5th century, with its modern iteration founded by King Christian IV in the mid 1600s. Home to many cultural, music, and arts festivals, the Norwegian city pulses with creative energy. Several museums celebrate local history and natural features, and the trails of Odderoyja are a wonderful way to breathe in fresh air while mingling with locals. Historic Oddernes church is a blend of architectural styles.

Unique Escape Room experience in Kristiansand! All our rooms are brainstormed, planned and built here in Kristiansand ensuring a unique gaming experience you will find nowhere else.
A very professional staff took us in, explained the rules, and answered any questions! A very dark escape room, but not too dark! With a haunted theme, scary music and noises. It had both complex, surprising, and interesting puzzles, that sometimes required real teamwork! It was an exciting and thrilling experience, that in my taste could have been just a little bit more scary! But I will not subtract a star for that, as I myself is quite hardened when it comes to scary stuff! Great work Escape Room Kristiansand, I will definitely come back, and recommend you to anyone visiting Kristiansand! :D

Welcome to Kristiansand Kannmuseum where the worlds second largest land based canon can be seen. The area around the canon is good for hiking. Please see website for opening hours. We are now closed for the season.
It has now been overhauld and painted innthe colors it had during ww2. It looks fantastic. Absolutely worth the visit

Really enjoyed my morning walk around Odderoya. Particularly, I liked the light house, the paths, the views from various spots around the island, and learning a little military history. Also, there is a small, charming garden which looked like it might be a community garden(?). There are some fairly steep hills if heading for the light house, so good to have proper footwear.

After walking around the town of Kristiansand we headed to the highest point we could find for a view over the town. Behind the viewpoint are walking trails around several lakes. We wandered around admiring the views and how beautiful it all was. The lakes were starting to freeze over and a father and his sons were having fun throwing pieces of ice on to the frozen lakes and watching them shatter. I would imagine this is also a great place to walk round during the summer months, the wildlife would be amazing.
