I love the idea of a retro bike and had thought that the Enfield Interceptor was for me so I trialed one at Mas Que Motos who had a great selection of "proper" motorcycles including several Royal Enfields. The bike appeared brand new and I had a blast! But as much fun as I had, I realised an older BMW was probably for me. I was thankful of the opportunity and there is no where else on Tenerife with the wide variety of bikes. The owner speaks good English and is obviously an enthusiast and happy to talk bikes when not busy, A great experience all round.

Last minute plan to rent a bike for 10 days would have failed without these guys. They managed to find me pretty much the last bike around. To my slight surprise it was a Limited edition BMW F800R , not in its 1st flight of youth and bit knocked about but well maintained (and didn't miss a beat) in some ways that's nice are you aren't paranoid about putting a little scratch on a brand new bike a getting a bill! Bike was great fun and I was amazed when scrolling through the trip and found it had done over 160k kms!! You'd never guess from riding it. I spent my whole time on La Gomera the only slight worry being I was told that if I had an issue on Gomera they couldn't help me which would have worried me more if I'd already seen the mileage. Anyway the bike was great, they lent me a helmet for my wife & they even gave us lift the the bus station to get back to the airport. Perfect 'two up' bike too It is the best way to get about and see the area - the roads on Gomera are bike heaven - super smooth tarmac , no traffic & endless bends :)
