Tiyi By Design is an exclusive Caribbean brand producing exquiste, hand crafted art jewelry. Each piece is individually designed by professional metalsmith/art jeweller, Ichia Tiyi. The artist will work in the studio for the visitor to view the process live, and they can also learn to create a small piece of jewelry for themselves.
This is my second visit to Barbados and to see Ichia as well for an amazing piece of her jewelry. She is a lovely person and her jewelry is one of a kind. My wrists are small so both times she had to make my bracelets smaller which I really appreciated. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

White sand and calm clear waters make this beach an ideal location for afternoon loafing.
Lovely beach, there are some choral and small rocks between the sand and the water so be careful where you step! Its quiet, no amenities but you only need to wander to Mullins beach for refreshments etc.

Very knowledgeable curator, excellent gallery of very fine Bajan artists, including all of our favourites, especially Anne Dodson, Penny Rollitt and clayworks from the Earth and Fire Studios.

One of the top 5 beaches I’ve ever been to. Beautiful sand, amazing water, ideal for families with kids. Almost no people. Parking for free next to the beach. Just take your own beach tent or any other shade ;)

Experience a beautiful Caribbean sunset, cocktail in hand, at this beachside bar.
Had a weeks holiday at the Royal Westmoreland Resort staying in a golf cottage. Excellent accomadation very clean in stunning peacefull location. Hired a golf buggy to get round this 800 acre paradise. Meals were good and not much different from UK prices, Mullins beach restaurant was exceptional. The service throughout the site was second to none. Supermarket prices are very high much dearer than M&S, perhaps double or more. Will definatley return to Royal Westmoreland Resort.

Came across this as we were out for a stroll and were impressed by the glimpse into the history of the island, well worth a visit if you are in Speitstown.

I have now visited a few times...this is a calm, chilled out and chic place to kick back. It's perfect, you can't help but notice all the small details the owners have put time and effort into to create this tranquility. Great selection of drinks along with the only place I have come across that sells Moretti beer !. Give it a try, spend a few hours listening to chill out sounds or DJ music, sip a drink and eat Sushi....magical.
