Hope was our first rescue in January 2004, Dusty the second. Since then over 450 donkeys have been taken into our refuge here in Corfu. As a refuge we aim to give: the old a safe and happy retirement; the sick a chance of cure; the injured the chance of recovery; the abused the chance of regaining trust and hope and the abandoned the feeling of security again. Take a look on our website for more information, pictures and a detailed map.You are very welcome to visit us, see the work we do and experience the calm company of our donkeys.

Walk Through a Honeybee Hive with a Local Beekeeping Expert. Don a suit and head into an apiary, where you’ll see an open hive and hold a frame of live bees; conclude your visit with honey tastes. Weather permit it !!!
????????????A must to do while your in Kefalonia, you will love the vast experience of Eleni & Thanassis as they take you on a tour of the bees and tell you all about the journey they take in life, one word is fascinating, once you’ve had a cool drink and things explained, you dress in a beekeeper suit and taken to see the bees and then the laboratory to see how the honey etc is processed, then you get to taste and buy products if you wish. We felt sad to go because they make you feel so welcome. Got to be No1 attraction in Kefalonia ????????????

We are an organic farm in the centre of Zakynthos, where we cultivate a wide range of fruits and vegetables, herbs and flowers. Our Olive Oil was awarded the Gold Standard at the International Society, Olympia Awards and we also produce a selection of wines and the famous black raisins. You are welcome to visit our farm, meet the animals and share our passion for local produce.
I googled Therianos family farm before I left for Greece. The warm welcome by Tez was so lovely. After he explained the farm and what to see we wondered off to explore. On our return Tez started to tell us about the family history of the farm, the present and the future. He then went on to tell us about the organic products and gave us samples. This was not just a ‘visit’ it turned out to be genuinely personal. I told Taz my partner was diabetic, to which he recommended High Polyphenol. 20ml per day before food, he should see a massive difference. So we bought a bottle - if it works then wonderful! We were introduced to his sister Dionysia who we were told was an artist and author. She told us all about her book by showing us a copy and read a couple of pieces we chose for her to read (because it was in Greek) I really felt moved and touched by the readings and her story of how she came to write the book. I looked on Amazon and there is was, Learning to fly : kiss of the spirit. I will definitely placing an order. Anyhow,,, We bought some organic products and said our goodbyes. What a fantastic, informative and perfect visit. See you again guys, I’ll be treading grapes with you one day as promised ???? Please visit and support this amazing family.

The little farm, just round the corner from Akropolis in laganas is well worth a visit. We all absolutely loved it, such beautiful and friendly animals (who are very well looked after and much loved) in a gorgeous setting with great views. The people are lovely and have really thought of everything great seating areas, refreshments, hammocks and crafting area for children. Definitely recommend from children to adults alike (you can even have a prosecco at the top over looking laganas/kalamaki bay) it was magical.

Family owned winery, we also make exceptional Olive oil. Situated in the largest privately owned Estate in the Island.
We did the tour and tasting - wine and olive oil. Amazing personal tour with a brilliant guide who spoke superb English and indulged our love for great wine, food and James Bond. Superb venue, very luxurious estate in the heart of a traditionally casual Greek island. The wines and oil are excellent value and the attention to detail is superb. We learnt something new despite having been to vineyards before. The white was our favourite but the rosé is lovely too! We find the Robola wine is perfectly scented for our palettes ;)
