Could not recommend more highly! We were in Quito and did a day trip to Mindo. Our guide, Alex, was amazing. He was a wealth of information and went far out of his way to show us everything we wanted to see. We zip-lined, went to the butterfly museum, did a chocolate tasting and learned how cocoa beans become chocolate. We also did a cable and hike to a waterfall. We really wanted to hit the equator museum on the way back and Alex made sure we got there -- we were running behind and he called to make sure they would stay open for us. Along the way, he gave us a great sense about Ecuador. Alex even helped us order pizza on the way home . He said that "no" was not in his vocabulary and that turned out to be true. The whole operation was so easy -- they even took us to the airport on our way out. The bus was comfortable, the driver safe, and it was just overall a fabulous trip -- our favorite activity in Quito. Thank you Alex and CarpeDM!

Because being travelers, we know what is necessary to travel correctly, so Customized tours depending on travelers' preferences, let me know how much time you have and we can make it worth it! While you are here, spend some time in Ecuador! Here you have Quito is the perfect place to learn how the Spanish invasion changes everything about the prehispanic culture, mixing it into a creole style. Nice view of volcanoes and contrast with the modern Quito's city life. Some places/activities' availability may vary. Better to go during weekdays to avoid conglomeration. Keeping all biosafety standards, Covid free service. We take care of each other.

Daniel was a great guide and the drive from Quito was beautiful. The thermal springs and spa itself were amazing! I did the 45 min deep body massage and I highly recommend. If you go on a weekend, I would recommend leaving early, Daniela will work with you to figure out what time you want to leave and how long you want to stay, he is very flexible. If you're interested in Spa treatments, I would schedule them in advance or as soon as you arrive so that you can get the time slot you want. I waited a few hours and it started to get a little more crowded (not full but there were others there) and I hate to wait til the afternoon for my massage. Overall, it was a very relaxing day.

After many phone call and a email confirmation sent by Pierre that Blue Spirit will refund our travel agency ... nothing was sent . Pierre is a real danger !!! I can send emails received from Pierre. After a cancellation of the cruise by Blue Spirit ... only one month before departure and during peak season ... our VIP clients could not cruise on the boat ... Pierre after many e-mails and Phone calls organized a “land cruise” he agreed to send us send us back a refund of 5.000USD : difference between the initial cruise booked and the hotel and day cruises on a regular and crowded boat. My husband and I returned safely on Saturday from our Ecuador and Galapagos trip. Even if everyday life is slowly sinking in again, we are still very much inspired by the great, unique experiences we were able to gather on the islands. We would like to express our gratitude to you and your team for the organization and the really smooth running of our trip. Everything has always worked exactly as described in the itinerary (except when we did not work as we should and arrived late due to a stalled clock for our transfer to Isabela …). The plan was perfect to keep track of all the activities and had always answers for any ambiguity and questions, so nothing could go wrong. That has always given us a dose of extra security. And if there were any organizational or other questions, Karin and also especially Rebekka was always available with answers and offer a helping hand! Especially on the islands, the time feels so precious, that you want to devote yourself fully to the diverse experiences … Conclusion: our expectations were exceeded and we will recommend Galapagos PRO for sure. Thanks and best regards, Lindy T

We had a great day trip from Quito to Cotopaxi with our guide Daniel. He picked us up from our hotel on time at 8am and drove expertly to Cotopaxi taking a scenery road which allowed us to appreciate the geography of the inter-valley region. The drive took about 1.5 hours. His approach takes you around the volcanoes from all angles. Daniel was truly passionate about Ecuador and very knowledgeable about wildlife and vegetation of the region. He stopped plenty of times for awesome picture opportunities. We hiked from the parking lot (15K ft) to the refuge (16K ft) doing the zig-zag approach and experienced no issues with altitude sickness whatsoever (he stopped by a kiosko where we could buy coca candy and leaves if needed before entering the park). The weather was awful as we ascended, with small hail and dust from the strong winds, but he was patient and set the pace perfectly for us to successfully reach the refuge. We grabbed hot chocolate up in the refuge (2.5 per cup, bring change) and warmed up before going back down. On our way back to Quito, we stopped by an authentic local restaurant around 3pm where we had a soup, a pork dish, and an ice cream. Back to the hotel by 5pm promptly. This is a great experience for a Quito escapade which you should consider if you're looking to do something based off the city.
Cotopaxi is an active stratovolcano in the Andes Mountains, we will enjoy the view since we depart from Quito, it is 2 hours far. Cotopaxi Volcano is the second highest summit in Ecuador, reaching a height of 5,897 m (19,347 ft). It is one of the world's highest volcanoes. Also we can enjoy downhill in roll skates or bike in the National Park.

Quilotoa Lagoon is a beautiful place to visit and our tour was amazing. It was customized to fit our needs and felt relaxing abs not rushed. Our guide was great too! One caution, the hike back up is incredibly hard and will take hours. We have hiked a lot and really struggled. There are donkeys to carry you back up. However the day we were there, there were only 2 for 50 tourists. We waited for them at the bottom but soon realized people on the hill were intercepting them. So we had to hike up until we found donkeys heading down. It was a little scary thinking we might not make it back up. Just know your limits and check for Donkeys.
