A popular church built in the early 1700's.
We have been coming to Cabo for the past decade and we always attend mass here. It’s welcoming and they offer bilingual masses. The streets are closed on Sunday mornings for the families it’s a beautiful time to explore the area and visit the recently renovated Viva La Plaza

the Mission was open to visit at the main square on Día de Muertos. Very nice inside with a history pillar outside in Spanish and English explaining the church. Interesting history and very nice to see inside. Seems it has been moved many times. Part of the history of this area. On the main square.

Only 50 min drive from Loreto. The paved road has amazing views of the Sierra de la Giganta mountains & the Sea of Cortes. The 320 year old San Javier Mision is an architectural wonder surrounded by irrigated fields & orchards engineered by the Jesuits & built by the indigenous people. Don't miss the massive twisted olive tree behind the church (same age as mision?) Small museum at back of church has artifacts dating back to start of Mision. Make sure to have Pesos for "donation/admittance fees". Dining options at the 2 restaurants are basic traditional Mexican fare. Photo opportunities at every turn. A must see if in the Loreto area.

This church has a very interesting history of how it ended up on a mining town in Baja after being showed alongside the Eiffel Tower in Paris. This is something that should be widely known and somehow it isn't. Unfortunately the church was closed due to the pandemic, but we read the history and took lots of pictures. Will come back when it's open in the future.

This place is old and very interesting. The history this place has, and the importance it has on Baja is very interesting to know. We went round the place and had a good time. Must-see when in Loreto

This church is a historical and architectural landmark in Todos Santos.
The bells of this simple, yet well maintained church ring on the hour and call residents to mass twice daily. Not being a practicing Catholic, I find it peaceful just to sit outside the church in the evening to listen to those inside worshiping and singing. Outside the church is a small plaza facing the valle de huerta and one can gaze into the distance, watching the sunset over the ocean, hoping to catch a glimpse of a breaching whale. It's also a colorful photo-op spot given the brightly painted TODOS SANTOS art sign is situated there.
