Doolin caves are a real treat. Perfect for a rainy day. The guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the caves, it made the experience really interesting and fun. The stalactite is a must see. Unbelievable to see it up close. The history of it is extraordinary and to be able to travel safely into caves that are over 250,000 years old is amazing. Well done doolin caves for bringing this to the public.

Hidden gem of Sligo! Views from the top are phenomenal, especially on a sunny day. By chance we got there just in time for the sunset. Gorgeous! Wear shoes with good grip as you walk across grassland, then a turn style, and steep and slippy climb up a gravel path to the top. Have fun exploring in and around the caves, mucky and little slippy in parts but doable. Thoroughly enjoyed and really glad we ventured ????????

This was our second time visiting Ailwee Caves. It’s an amazing tour of this cave with very informative tour guides. The tours and run quite regularly so it’s a must see if you are visiting Clare. There is also a farm type shop in the grounds which have the most amazing cheeses and fudge. Don’t leave without trying what’s on offer.

We had an outstanding experience in Crag Cave, we are traveling with two children's, One years old and a four and a half. At the start we ate at the restaurant in the visitors center, we took the apple tart that was lovely (both our kids loved it). Than we went in to the cave with our tour guide Don, my four and a half took the lead together with Don who gave him a flash light so he could explore, he was fascinated by the stalactites. Don was lovely and he let the kids first to explore the cave with the torch and after we arrived for each section he use to open the lights so we could to be impressed and for sure we did. My kid absolutely loved the experience! After the cave we took our kids to the play zone in the visitors center which is great, big and diverse (both kids enjoyed it!).

The grotto here is fantastic and well worth a visit. Like everywhere else on the island the views are spectacular. There is ample parking
