Svetlogorsk is a unique resort city combining all three main resort factors: a healing climate, mineral waters and healing mud combined with a picturesque landscape. During this period, according to a single plan, a whole resort complex was erected. Yantarny name before sounded no less beautiful, Palmnicken. Despite the fact that this is a very small settlement, it is quite old and has more than 700 years. The root of the name of this city can be translated as “empty land”.
